The whole document team, inside Claude, ChatGPT, and your agent tools

EM+X is a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Connect it once and the AI chat you already work in can brief, generate, refine, preview, and download finished, on-brand presentations and documents — without you switching surfaces. Every generation runs the same deterministic quality gates and partner review as the web app, and the result is the same native .pptx or .docx built on your template's own masters.

ChatGPT is the one exception — it connects through its own dedicated URL:

Authorization uses your EM+X sign-in over OAuth 2.1 — no API keys. The free tier works over MCP, so you can try the whole loop without a card.

What your agent can do

  • Brief from conversation. The agent assembles the brief from what you've already discussed; you confirm it instead of retyping it, and a sufficiency check asks for what's genuinely missing.
  • Generate through the quality loop. Deterministic checks for brand fidelity, layout collisions, unsupported numbers, and naming — then an independent partner review against your brief, with automatic revision before you see version one.
  • Interactive panel, in the chat. A live preview pager with a build checklist, fullscreen present mode, a version scrubber with side-by-side compare, and your project portfolio — rendered inside the conversation.
  • Templates and style. Upload a brand template via a secure link, or clone the style of an existing project onto a new one.
  • Account, without leaving chat. Check your plan and usage, and upgrade via checkout — the panel notices when the new allowance lands.
  • Download the real file. Expiring, integrity-checked links to the finished .pptx or .docx.

Connect from Claude

  1. Open the EM+X listing in the Claude connectors directory (button below) — or find EM+X in claude.ai under Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Connect and sign in to EM+X when the authorization screen appears (create a free account if you don't have one).
  3. That one connect covers claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and mobile — same account everywhere.
  4. Ask Claude for a document. The brief assembles itself from your conversation; you confirm it instead of retyping it.

Connect from ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Plugins and enable Developer mode if prompted (on some plans it lives under Settings → Security and login).
  2. Back in Plugins, choose MCP → Add → Add MCP Server and paste the ChatGPT connector URL below (ChatGPT has its own URL, different from the standard one).
  3. Authorize with your EM+X sign-in, then ask for a deck or document in the conversation.

Security model

  • OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration; tokens are audience-bound to the EM+X server and never passed through to anything else.
  • Every request is ownership-checked against your account — an agent can only reach your projects.
  • Download links are signed capability URLs that expire in minutes and re-verify the file's digest byte-for-byte.
  • Your content is never used to train models — same policy as the web app. Details on the security page.

How do I add EM+X to Claude?

EM+X is a listed connector in the Claude directory: open https://claude.ai/directory/em-x and click Connect - no URL to paste. One connect covers claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and mobile; in the desktop app, claude://claude.ai/directory/em-x opens the listing directly. Authorization runs through your EM+X sign-in (OAuth 2.1).
