Ask your AI assistant for a quiz in plain language. It can create a structured multiple-choice quiz in Quizzz, save it to your library, and keep the result editable in the dashboard.

Return a Shareable Magic Link

Turn a generated quiz into an assignment and get a public or student-specific link. Students open the link and answer without accounts, apps, or access codes.

OAuth Authorization, Not API Keys

Teachers authorize the connector once with their Quizzz account. The AI client acts only within that teacher's account scope, so it cannot access another teacher's quizzes or students.

Works Alongside the Quizzz UI

MCP is not a separate export workflow. Quizzes, assignments, students, and results created through the connector remain visible in the normal Quizzz dashboard.

Yes. Quizzz exposes a public MCP endpoint at https://quizzz.techtranslab.com/api/mcp for authorized teacher workflows.

Can Claude create a Quizzz quiz through MCP?+

Yes. After you authorize the connector, Claude can create quizzes and assignments through your Quizzz account. Quizzz validates, stores, and serves the quiz to students.

Can ChatGPT use the same connector?+

Quizzz is built around the MCP connector path and ChatGPT Apps support. Host capabilities change over time, but the product direction is the same: AI clients should be able to call Quizzz tools instead of leaving you with text.

Is Quizzz listed in the Claude or ChatGPT connector directory?+

Not yet — we have not submitted Quizzz to the built-in connector directories. For now, add it manually as a custom connector using https://quizzz.techtranslab.com/api/mcp in your AI client's connector settings, then authorize your teacher account.

Does this spend Quizzz AI credits?+

When the AI client drafts the questions and sends them through MCP, Quizzz validates and stores the quiz. That workflow is separate from Quizzz's built-in AI generation credits.

Do students need accounts?+

No. The connector can create assignments that use Quizzz Magic Links, so students open the link and answer without creating accounts.

Is Quizzz free to use?+
