How to connect Google Search Console to Claude

Connect Google Search Console to Claude with HyperGSC in three steps. Follow the setup instructions and copy a short prompt to check it works.

Quick answer

• Connect your Google account in HyperGSC, choose your Search Console website, and save it.

• Add https://hypergsc.com/mcp as a custom connector in Claude and sign in.

• Ask Claude to list your connected Search Console websites. If yours appears, you are connected.

What you need

• A Google account with access to your website in Search Console.

• A HyperGSC account.

• A Claude account that supports custom connectors. Your workspace administrator may need to enable them.

1. Connect your website in HyperGSC

• Sign in to HyperGSC and open Connections.

• Connect the Google account that has access to your website in Search Console.

• Choose the website you want to share and save your selection.

Search Console calls each website a property. Signing in to HyperGSC with Google is separate from connecting Search Console, so complete this step even if you already signed in with Google.

2. Add HyperGSC to Claude

• Open Claude on the web or desktop, then go to Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector.

• Name it HyperGSC and paste the server URL below.

• Choose browser sign-in. If Claude asks for an OAuth client method, choose Register automatically.

• Finish signing in to HyperGSC and approve access.

• In a new chat, open + → Connectors and enable HyperGSC.

3. Check the connection

Send this in Claude:

You should see HyperGSC make a tool call and return the website you saved. If more than one appears, tell the assistant which one to use.

Once that works, try your first report:

Replace [my website] with the property returned by the connection check. Recent Search Console data can be delayed.

Using Claude Code?

Use this command instead of the connector steps above:

Start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose HyperGSC, and finish browser sign-in. Then try the connection check prompt above.

If something does not work

• No connector option? Check your Claude account or ask your workspace administrator to add the connector.

• Your website is missing? Check the Google account and saved website selection in HyperGSC Connections.

• Sign-in failed? Reconnect HyperGSC in Claude and complete the browser sign-in.

• A report is unavailable? Ask which reports your HyperGSC plan supports.

Common questions

Can this change my Search Console settings?

HyperGSC’s Search Console tools are read-only. They can retrieve reports but cannot change property settings or submit or delete sitemaps.

How do I disconnect Claude?

Remove HyperGSC from Claude and revoke its authorization in HyperGSC. Signing out alone does not revoke access. Disconnecting does not erase reports already shared with Claude.
