WatchCron MCP
resmiMonitor cron jobs and scheduled tasks from AI agents. Get alerts when jobs fail, run late, or stop reporting. WatchCron MCP server lets AI assistants create monitors, check job status, and analyze execution history.
WatchCron MCP ile neler yapabilirsiniz?
- Create monitors — Ask your assistant to set up a new monitor, such as an HTTP check on a site with a chosen interval and alert channel.
- Check what's down — Ask which monitors are currently down or review recent incidents, including when they started and whether they resolved.
- Review incidents — Query incident history over a time window to see what failed and how it was resolved.
- Manage alert channels — Configure where alerts go, including Slack, email, and Telegram, from chat.

Teams that keep their jobs on WatchCron
“We had a few incidents last year where the API was down and we found out from support tickets, not from us. ==Now we catch it in minutes, not after a client screenshots the error.==”
Alex J., Co-founder at Foxberry
Foxberry
“Managing scheduled jobs for a bunch of client sites, it's hard to keep track of it all. ==Before this we'd get a call — now we're the ones calling to say it's already fixed.==”
Rachel K., Lead developer at Switchboard
Switchboard
“Our reconciliation job had been failing for two days and nobody noticed until a customer asked. ==Now we get a ping the same hour — before it turns into a real problem.==”
Erik L., Backend engineer at Nordfold

“We've been using it for a few months now. ==Warehouse sync went down over a weekend and we knew about it before Monday.== That used to be a Monday morning fire.”
Maria S., CTO at Cadmium
Cadmium
“We handle scheduled jobs across a dozen client servers and tracking all of it was a mess. ==One place for all of it, and the team actually knows when something breaks.==”
Tomás A., Engineering lead at Patchwork
Patchwork
“Reports run overnight for a few hundred accounts and we used to find out something failed when users started emailing. ==Now the team gets an alert before the first complaint comes in.==”

We set up monitoring for 30+ cron jobs in under an hour. The dashboard shows exactly what's running and what needs attention.
Alex K. Senior DevOps Engineer
Switched from a DIY monitoring script. WatchCron caught a silent backup failure on the second day  exactly the scenario we worried about.
Maria R. Backend Lead, SaaS Startup
Our jobs sometimes run a minute or two late  with other tools that meant constant false alarms. Grace periods solved it perfectly.
James P. Platform Engineer
The Slack integration is flawless. Our on-call team gets notified instantly when a scheduled task misses its window.
Sarah C. SRE, Fintech
Simple, reliable, and the pricing makes sense. We monitor everything from database backups to report generation pipelines.
David L. CTO, Agency
Added WatchCron to our CI pipeline  now we know within minutes if a deploy breaks our scheduled workers. Invaluable.

01What happens if my job runs late?
Every check has a grace period. If the ping arrives inside it, nothing happens. If it doesn't, you get an alert.
02Do I need to install an agent?
No. Your job sends one HTTP request when it finishes. curl, wget or any HTTP client works.
03How do I monitor Laravel scheduled commands?
Add the ping URL to a scheduled task with pingOnSuccess() or call it at the end of the command.
04Where do alerts go?
To any of 22 channels, including email, Slack and Telegram. Every check type uses the same setup.
05Can I monitor more than cron jobs?
06Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan includes 20 checks and needs no credit card.
