Telegram MCP: tell your agent to publish, your bot posts it
AdminHub is a hosted Telegram MCP server: Model Context Protocol for your channel, with nothing to install. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, or Cursor, and let it check your stats and publish posts — through the bot you already made, never your personal account.
AdminHub is in the Claude connectors directory

Fourteen tools your agent can call
Enough to check performance, publish posts, and see subscribers by name and username. Nothing about products, orders, or your knowledge base.
Workspace overview
Confirms the workspace, plan and bot connection, plus how many channels there are and how many MCP posts you have used this month.
get_workspace
List your channels
Every channel in the workspace, each with its subscriber count and whether the bot can post there.
list_channels
Subscriber stats
Subscriber totals and day-by-day growth for one channel, over a window you choose.
get_channel_stats
List your posts
Recent posts in the workspace — filter by channel or status, each with its per-channel delivery status.
list_posts
Read a post
Full text and status of one post, so the agent can check it before acting.
get_post
Create a post
Saves text to one or more channels — as a draft, scheduled for later, or queued to go out right away.
create_post
Publish a draft
Sends a saved draft now, or at the time it was originally scheduled for.
publish_post
Cancel a post
Deletes a draft, scheduled, or failed post — published posts stay.
cancel_post
Attach an image
Adds an image to a post from a URL. Telegram issues a file id only after the bot sends it once to the owner's own chat, so that chat must already be open.
add_post_image
Update a post
Changes a draft, scheduled or failed post's text, title or scheduled time — pass only what changes.
update_post
Edit a published post
Changes the text of a post that already went out — tries every channel it reached and reports per-channel success.
edit_published_post
Retry delivery
Resends a post to the channels where it failed or was canceled — one channel, or every retryable one at once.
retry_post_delivery
List subscribers
Who's subscribed to a channel, when they joined, their status and activity — money fields only if asked.
list_subscribers
Subscriber card
Same details for one subscriber — identity, join date, status and activity; money fields again only on request.
get_subscriber
Three steps to connect an agent
Set it up once — after that you just ask.
-
Connect your channel's bot
MCP publishes through the same bot your channel already uses in AdminHub. No bot yet? Connecting one takes a minute in Settings. -
Connect your agent
Add the server address and sign in with Telegram, or paste a key into the header — whichever your client expects. -
Ask it to publish
Tell the agent what to post and where. It calls create_post, and your bot sends it.
Step by step for your client
Pick your client for its own steps. The server address is the same for all of them.
Connect Claude
- Press “Add to Claude” — AdminHub’s card in the Claude connectors directory opens. Connect it there; before you do, Claude reminds you it is a community connector.
- Sign in with Telegram, choose a workspace and press Allow.
Directory didn’t open, or isn’t available in your organization? Add a custom connector by hand (Customize → Connectors) with this address:
https://mcp.adminhub.tools/mcp
On Team and Enterprise, an organization Owner adds AdminHub first (Organization settings → Connectors). Once connected, it also shows up in the Claude desktop and mobile apps, and in Claude Code when you sign in to it with your claude.ai plan.
Connect ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings and turn on developer mode.
- Create an app: paste the server address and choose OAuth as the authentication.
- Sign in with Telegram, choose a workspace and press Allow.
Server address
https://mcp.adminhub.tools/mcp
Developer mode isn’t on every ChatGPT plan — check OpenAI’s help for yours.
Connect Claude Code
Run in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http adminhub --scope user https://mcp.adminhub.tools/mcp
Then type /mcp in a session — or run claude mcp login adminhub in the terminal — and sign in with Telegram. No key needed.
Already added AdminHub on claude.ai and signed in to Claude Code with your claude.ai plan? It’s already there — skip the command, or it takes a second connection.
For claude -p and CI, where no browser sign-in can run, send a key from Settings → AI agents (MCP) as a header:
claude mcp add --transport http adminhub --scope user https://mcp.adminhub.tools/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer ah_mcp_YOUR_KEY"
Connect Codex
Add the server in your terminal:
codex mcp add adminhub --url https://mcp.adminhub.tools/mcp
Then sign in with Telegram — no key needed:
The same setup works in the Codex IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app — they share ~/.codex/config.toml.
Connect Cursor
- Press “Add to Cursor” — Cursor opens the server install with the address already filled in. Confirm it.
- When Cursor asks you to sign in, sign in with Telegram, choose a workspace and press Allow.
Didn’t open? Add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json by hand:
{ "mcpServers": { "adminhub": { "url": "https://mcp.adminhub.tools/mcp" } } }
If sign-in doesn’t open in your Cursor version, connect with a key instead: create it in Settings → AI agents (MCP) → Cursor and add it as a header:
{ "mcpServers": { "adminhub": { "url": "https://mcp.adminhub.tools/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer ah_mcp_YOUR_KEY" } } } }
Connect VS Code
Open the Command Palette → “MCP: Add Server” → HTTP, paste the server address and sign in with Telegram.
Server address
https://mcp.adminhub.tools/mcp
Or add the server to mcp.json:
{ "servers": { "adminhub": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.adminhub.tools/mcp" } } }
Other clients
Any MCP client with Streamable HTTP works. If it supports OAuth sign-in, give it the server address and sign in with Telegram; if not, send a key from Settings in the Authorization: Bearer header.

Check the connection
Send your agent one of these — the reply shows right away that everything works.
- Show my channels in AdminHub
- How many subscribers joined my channel this week?
- Draft a post about our new product and show it to me before publishing
A list of your channels means the connection is live. If the agent answers bot_required, connect your channel’s bot first.
Revoke a key or the connection any time in Settings → AI agents (MCP) — it stops working immediately.
If something went wrong
After signing in it says “Your channel needs its own bot first”
Your workspaces have no bot yet. Open @tg_adminhub_bot in Telegram, create your channel’s bot, come back to the page and press “Check again” — it waits 30 minutes and opens the workspace choice as soon as the bot is there.
“The Free plan allows one connection.”
On Free, a key, claude.ai, ChatGPT and Claude Code all take the same single slot. Remove the one you don’t need in Settings → AI agents (MCP) and connect again — or move to Pro.
“This connection session has expired.”
Each step of the connection page waits 10 minutes (30 while you’re creating a bot). Start again in your AI client — signing in takes a few seconds.
My workspace isn’t on the list
Only a workspace’s owner or admin can connect it. Check that you signed in with the Telegram account you manage the channel from.
The post was created but didn’t reach the channel
Delivery goes through a queue and takes up to a minute. get_post shows the status and error for each channel; most often the bot is no longer a channel admin — give it its rights back and call retry_post_delivery.
The image won’t attach (owner_bot_not_started)
The workspace owner has never opened a private chat with the channel’s bot. Open the bot and press Start — images attach after that.
The agent can’t see subscribers (insufficient_scope)
The key was issued before the subscriber permission existed. Create a new key or connect again — every new connection gets all three permissions.

Telegram MCP questions
What is a Telegram MCP server?
A server that speaks the Model Context Protocol and gives an AI client like Claude or ChatGPT tools for working with Telegram. What those tools can reach depends on how the server signs in: a userbot server acts as your personal account, while a bot server only touches the chats its bot was added to. AdminHub is a hosted bot server for your channel.
Is there an official Telegram MCP server?
No. Telegram hasn't published one, and its Bot API documentation doesn't mention MCP. Every Telegram MCP server is third-party, AdminHub included. Checked 4 November 2026.
Why does the agent need my own bot?
MCP publishes through the Telegram bot you already connected to your channel in AdminHub — never a shared AdminHub bot and never your personal account. No bot yet? Connecting one takes a minute in Settings.
Is this a userbot? Will my account get banned?
No. AdminHub MCP is not a userbot and never touches your personal Telegram account — it only calls your channel's own bot through Telegram's official Bot API, the same way the rest of AdminHub does.
What can the agent see, and what can't it do?
It reads your workspace, channels and posts, and your subscribers too (a separate permission that every new connection includes), but never an individual subscriber's spending unless you ask for that too. It creates, edits, publishes, cancels and retries posts, and can attach an image (briefly relayed through your own chat with the bot to get a file id). It still can't see products, orders or your knowledge base, or attach anything but an image.
What do Free and Pro allow?
Free includes one MCP connection and thirty posts created through MCP per month. Pro removes both limits.
How do I revoke access?
Open Settings → AI agents (MCP) in AdminHub and remove the connection or delete the key. It stops working immediately — nothing to wait out.
Which AI clients are supported?
Any MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP. Claude connects from the Claude connectors directory; ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and VS Code by server address — all with a Telegram sign-in. Clients without OAuth connect with a key in a header.
