Verbatim is a web app that turns one piece of long-form content a coach, consultant, or small business owner has already made (an article, a YouTube video with captions, or pasted notes or a transcript) into draft social posts in their own voice: an X thread, a LinkedIn carousel PDF, a newsletter draft, and short-video hooks with a script outline.

Who it's for

Coaches, consultants, course creators, and small business owners who already teach in talks, webinars, articles, or videos and want to post more without writing from scratch.

What you can paste in

• A public article or newsletter URL (the page text is extracted).
• A public YouTube video link with captions (the captions are read; if a video has none, you are told and can paste text instead).
• Pasted text: notes, an outline, or a transcript of a podcast, webinar, or Zoom call.

What you get

• X thread (about 5 to 10 posts, editable).
• LinkedIn carousel: 8 editable slides, 3 slide templates plus your brand color, downloadable as a PDF for a LinkedIn document post.
• Newsletter draft: subject line, preview text, intro, 3 to 5 sections, and a call to action; copy or download as Markdown.
• Short-video hooks: 5 to 10 opening lines plus a 30 to 60 second script outline with on-screen text for Reels, TikTok, or Shorts.

Voice matching

Paste one to three posts you've already written; they are used in the writing prompt so drafts follow your length, vocabulary, and point of view.

API and AI agents

Public REST API (/api/v1/generate) and MCP server (/api/mcp) with personal API keys created in settings; each API draft counts against the same plan. Docs at /docs/api, spec at /openapi.json.

What it does not do

• No audio or video file uploads, and no Zoom, Vimeo, or podcast-feed links; paste the transcript instead.
• No scheduling or auto-posting. It does not connect to your LinkedIn or X account; you copy or download and post yourself.
• No analytics, engagement automation, or DMs.
• No team seats or multi-client workspaces.

Privacy

Sources and drafts are stored in your account so you can edit them and are sent to the AI provider (OpenAI) only to write drafts. Not sold, not used to train models. Delete any draft from your history.
