Updated every day from the shelters' own public listings. Last updated October 30, 2026. Taiwan, some US counties, Fukushima (Japan), Zaragoza and found pets in Vienna are listed. Canada is coming.
Three steps
One question, two ways in
We make the connection. You meet the pet. The shelter decides.
For people
Ask or search
Type a place above, or ask your assistant: “Use Petnecto to find cats in United States.” Searching is free, with no ads or tracking.
Meet them
Every pet has a page with the shelter's photo, the facts and the phone number. When the listing doesn't say something, we say so.
Adopt at the shelter
Someone at the shelter knows this pet, and no question is a silly one: ask about the fee, the routine, or what happens if it doesn't work out. The shelter runs the adoption, on its own terms.

Say “Petnecto” in your request so your assistant uses Petnecto's tools, not a general web search. Connect it once with the steps below. Assistants can get things wrong. The shelter's listing is the final word.
