ctxtest (ctxnest)

This is a simple "Hello World" MCP (Model Context Protocol) server created for testing purposes.

Features

This server exposes the following tools:

  • hello-world: A greeting tool.
    • Input: name (string)
    • Output: A personalized hello message.
  • stat: A status check tool.
    • Output: Returns "running well".

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (v18 or higher)
  • npm

Installation

  1. Clone or navigate to the project directory.
  2. Install dependencies: 
    npm install

Running the Server

To start the server on stdio:

npm start

Building the Project

To compile the TypeScript source code:

npm run build

Note

This is only a test project.
