Carryo Website Publisher turns HTML from your AI chats into live websites, landing pages, reports and proposals you can update at the same link.

Connect Carryo in Claude

Sign in to your Carryo account when prompted. For Claude, follow the custom connector setup below.

After connecting, try: “Publish this HTML as a live website with Carryo.”

Start here

Publish with the Carryo ChatGPT plugin.

1. Open CarryoOpen Carryo in ChatGPT and start a chat.

2. Create your pageTell ChatGPT what you want to make, such as a proposal, report, presentation, calculator, or simple website.

3. Publish itWhen the page is ready, say: “Publish this with Carryo.” Sign in to Carryo if asked.

4. Share or update itOpen the link Carryo returns and share it. Ask ChatGPT for changes whenever you want to update the page.

Web publisher

Publish by pasting HTML.

1. Copy your HTMLUse a complete HTML page, including its styles and scripts.

2. Paste and publishOpen Carryo, paste the HTML into the publisher, and select Publish.

3. Share the linkOpen the live page to check it, then copy and share its URL.

4. Edit it laterSign in to edit the website at the same URL, change access, or take it offline.

Setup

Use Carryo in Claude.

Connect Carryo once, then publish and manage pages from your Claude chats.

This opens Claude’s connector settings with Carryo prefilled. Complete the connection there, or follow the manual steps below.

1. Open connectorsIn Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.

3. Sign inSign in to Carryo when Claude asks you to connect.

4. Publish from chatEnable Carryo in your Claude conversation, then ask it to publish your page and share the link it returns.

Connect another AI

If your AI supports remote MCP connections, add https://mcp.carryo.io/mcp in its connection settings and sign in to Carryo when prompted. Availability depends on your AI and account. Then ask it to save a private Carryo draft or publish your finished page.

Web app

Carryo Web App.

The Carryo web app is the owner console for your links. Chat can create and update pages quickly, but some choices should happen on Carryo so you can review the page and its access settings before publishing.

Publish private draftsPrivate drafts created from ChatGPT return a Carryo management URL. Open that URL in Carryo to review the page, choose access settings, and publish when ready.

Set passwordsUse Carryo to add, change, or clear password protection and restricted access. Credentials are configured on Carryo, not typed into the ChatGPT or Claude tool call. For a practical example, see the password-protected sharing guide.

Brand password pagesWith Pro or a Team workspace, customize password pages with your logo, brand colors, and font.

Forms

Collect contact requests and leads.

Ask ChatGPT to add or connect a Carryo form to your existing website, preserving its design. See the forms guide for prompts, screenshots and Google Forms alternatives.

Plans and draftsCollect responses on Personal Pro or in an active Team workspace. Free and Starter can save inactive form drafts, use browser-only calculators or link to an external form. Drafts do not collect; publish with eligible coverage to activate. A paid-plan requirement does not publish or update the site, and failed form preflight uses no creation or edit allowance. Saving a draft uses the usual creation allowance.

Read and exportOpen your library → Manage → Form responses → Load responses. Export all retained responses as JSON or delete individual entries. In chat, ask for response counts or specific fields using website.read_form_responses. Reads require current owner or Team access; ordinary website reads do not include response values. There is no built-in Google Sheets sync.

EmailOwner notifications use the Personal owner’s verified Carryo email or the Team workspace creator’s verified email. A visitor’s validated email can be Reply-To. Optional standard visitor acknowledgements are off by default and limited to 3 per recipient per day. Custom recipients, email sequences and newsletter campaigns are not supported. Check the response panel if an email is delayed or fails; provider acceptance does not prove inbox delivery.

Allowance and retention5 forms/site; 30 fields/form; 3,000 characters/value; 32 KiB/submission; 1,000 accepted responses/site/UTC calendar month; 20 submissions/source/site/10 minutes. All forms on a site share its monthly allowance. Responses expire after 30 days; export before expiry. Deletion does not reset usage or remove delivered emails and downloaded copies. New collection stops when eligible coverage ends; retained data remains subject to its expiry and the workspace access policy.

Supported useText, email, telephone, number, date, textarea, select, checkbox and radio fields. Contact, feedback and quote requests are supported; files, passwords, payment cards, government identifiers, protected health records, login systems and booking/payment transactions are not. Use a suitable external service for those workflows.

Access and storageCarryo hosts the form service on Cloudflare, encrypts stored responses and checks submissions for abuse. Visitors unlock password-protected pages before submitting. External Google Forms and Sheets have separate sharing permissions; the Carryo password does not protect their URLs.

Technical form integration and MCP outcomes

Static forms use a stable data-carryo-form key and named controls. Carryo extracts the fields and adds the submission destination and status:

React/JavaScript forms supply field definitions in the optional forms argument to publish/edit/draft and call await window.CarryoForms.submit(key, values). Keep form keys stable when editing, preserve entered values on error and show success only after acceptance. Mark browser-only forms with data-carryo-local. Existing external form destinations are preserved.

requires_adaptation asks the assistant to repair the existing form and retry with changed input. requires_entitlement explains the Pro/Team requirement and draft or external-form alternatives. Unsupported and unavailable outcomes also report no publication. These are actionable results, not proof of a live URL. Response reads default to counts; detailed reads are paginated, at most 50 rows and approximately 64 KiB per result.

If an older ChatGPT connection still reports forms as blocked, start a fresh chat after updating its Carryo tools. The updated directory version is awaiting review as of September 7, 2026. Responses can also be read in the Carryo web app.

Beta

What does beta mean?

Beta features are tested, live features available to use. They may not yet have full support in public MCP directories, such as the ChatGPT plugin directory, or may still be under evaluation with customers.

You can typically use these features by adding Carryo as a custom MCP connection in your AI assistant's settings. Use https://mcp.carryo.io/mcp and sign in to Carryo when prompted. In ChatGPT, use Developer mode; for Claude, follow the Claude custom MCP setup guide. If you already have a custom connection, refresh its tools. Start a new chat to use the latest features.

Examples

Prompt examples.

Ask in plain language. ChatGPT or Claude decides which Carryo tool to use based on the action you request.

Example 1 User prompt: "Publish this as a live website." Carryo publishes the website and returns its shareable link.

Example 2 User prompt: "Create a private Carryo draft so I can choose restricted access before publishing." Carryo creates a private draft and returns the management URL. The draft is not publicly accessible until published from Carryo.

Example 3 User prompt: "Edit the website at link ID ABC123... Keep the same URL, just change the headline and pricing." Carryo reads the current website with website.read and saves the revised version with website.edit.

Example 4 User prompt: "Show my websites." Carryo returns the user's websites and drafts so Claude or ChatGPT can help manage them.

Example 5 User prompt: "Unpublish the website with link ID ABC123..." Carryo takes the website offline so its shared link stops working.

Plans

Pricing, limits, and link lifecycle.

Personal plans cover your own websites. A Team workspace is a separate shared space with its own subscription, members, and limits.

Free · $0Publish 2 new Personal links every 30 days, keep up to 2 active, and make 3 edits per link after its creation. Free links show the Carryo badge. Drafts and claimed guest pages use the publishing allowance; deleting or unpublishing a link does not restore it. Your account shows the next reset date. External form links work on Free; collecting responses in Carryo requires Pro or Team.

Existing Free accountsAccounts with at least three active Personal links when this change launched keep their legacy allowance. Existing individual limits and paid subscriptions stay unchanged. Check your account details for your exact allowance.

Starter · $3/month or $29/yearOne selected Personal website gets a custom domain with managed HTTPS, unlimited edits subject to fair use, ongoing hosting while subscribed, and optional badge removal in its settings. Other websites keep Free limits. Domain purchase and renewal are separate. Cancel any time; paid features continue until the end of your paid period. Then Free rules apply and custom-domain hosting stops. Content is kept for at least 30 more days for recovery, not extra paid hosting. Website reassignment and moving to Pro currently require support. Starter supports external form links; Carryo response collection requires Pro or Team.

Pro · $10/month or $90/yearKeep up to 25 Personal links active with unlimited edits. Links stay online while subscribed unless you set an expiry. Pro also includes optional Carryo badge removal, branded password pages, and contact forms with email notifications: 1,000 responses/site/month, stored for 30 days.

Team workspace · $39/month or $360/yearGive up to 5 members one shared workspace with 100 active links, unlimited edits, shared edit history and view counts, optional Carryo badge removal, branded password pages, and contact forms with email notifications: 1,000 responses/site/month, stored for 30 days.

Separate Personal and Team billingCreating or joining a Team workspace does not replace or cancel your Personal plan. Each member keeps their own Personal library and the Team workspace is billed separately.

Copy-paste useLinks pasted without signup stay live for 24 hours. Claiming a pasted link consumes one new-link allowance on Free; after signup, it follows the same Free or Pro lifecycle as an MCP-created link.

30 days online, renewableA Free link starts with 30 days online. Editing that link or choosing Keep live restarts its 30 days. Visitor views and simply signing in do not extend it. Keep live neither uses nor replenishes your three edits. If the link goes offline through inactivity, you have seven days to restore it before deletion.

Offline website deletionFree websites taken offline are normally deleted after 7 days. A former Starter website keeps the longer recovery protection described above. Deletion removes the Carryo-hosted copy and details, not the original creation in Claude or ChatGPT.
