Connect the remote MCP

Three manual steps

The buttons below only open your platform settings. They do not install or connect Sauna Guide automatically.

3. 3. Create the connection ChatGPT: Turn on Developer mode. Go to Apps, choose Create, paste the URL as the endpoint, select no authentication, then choose Scan Tools and Create. Claude: Go to Customize, then Connectors. Choose Add custom connector, paste the URL, choose Web if asked, then select Add. The connection is ready when you can see prepare_sauna_quote_request and submit_sauna_quote_request.

What the two tools do

• prepare_sauna_quote_request validates a draft, identifies missing fields, and creates a request ID bound to the final details. It does not store data, send email, call a provider, or write analytics.
• submit_sauna_quote_request accepts the unchanged prepared request only after the user explicitly approves storage and email delivery. It starts Sauna Guide's personal provider search. It does not select a provider or share contact details.

The approval boundary

The assistant must summarize the complete request and ask for explicit approval immediately before submit. If any field changes, the assistant must prepare the request again. Submit stores the request in Sauna Guide's operational database and sends a confirmation email plus an internal notification. Newsletter signup is always off. A later provider introduction requires separate approval.

Required information

US ZIP code, state, city, name, email, US phone number, project type, preferred heat type, budget, and timeline. Electrical readiness, brand or model, and notes are optional. Placement photos are not accepted by the connector.

Use the Quote X-Ray directly with a browser AI

Open the AI Sauna Quote Checker and ask your browser's AI to inspect the current quote. The AI can read and update the same costs, scope decisions, and contractor questions you see. Every change stays visible, and the page never uploads, stores, emails, or submits the quote.

This page-level connection is called WebMCP. In a supported browser, its eight tools appear automatically. There is no server URL to paste and no setup button to click. If no page-connected AI is available, the checker still works fully by hand.

This is separate from the remote Quotes connector above. Use the remote connector to prepare a Sauna Guide quote request inside ChatGPT or Claude. Use WebMCP when an AI is working with the Quote X-Ray page in your browser.
