What it can do

Find events search_events

Find the events worth going to in a city, a country or worldwide, ranked by how big a moment each is (a 0-100 score from expected crowd and timing) or by start time, optionally only those matching a name (an artist, team, show or venue).

List covered cities list_cities

List the cities that currently have a live events board, with how many upcoming events each holds, biggest first.

Get event details get_event

Get one event in full: description, venue and address, coordinates, local start and end, score with its reason, and the ticketing or official source page.

Why the answers hold up

Events come from live feeds (ticketing, sports fixtures, nightlife listings and city open data), the same event listed by several feeds is merged into one, and each carries a 0 to 100 score for how big a moment it is, with a one-line reason. Place to Be sells no tickets and no placement, so nobody can pay for a higher rank. Your assistant gets each event's page link, so you can check the details and find tickets at the source. How the ranking works

For developers

• Protocol revision 2026-07-28, plus the handshake revisions 2025-11-25, 2025-06-18, 2025-03-26 for clients that still use them.
• Tools only, all read-only, each with an output schema for structured results.
• The same data as JSON, RSS and calendar feeds: feeds and embeds, and a machine-readable summary at /llms.txt.
