Give your AI assistant a memory for language. Once connected, it can read your vocabulary, queue, and mastery, and capture new words from any conversation - so the words you meet while chatting end up in your review pile automatically.

Frequently asked

Is there an MCP server for language learning or vocabulary?

Yes. MindDory provides an official MCP server (com.minddory/brain) that connects to Claude and other MCP-compatible clients. It turns the words you meet in conversation into spaced-repetition flashcards.

How do I save words from a Claude conversation as flashcards?

Add MindDory as a custom connector in Claude (the MCP server URL is api.minddory.com/v1/brain/mcp) and sign in once. After that, Claude captures new vocabulary you meet while chatting into your MindDory deck, where it is scheduled for spaced repetition.

Which AI assistants can build my vocabulary while I chat?

Any MCP-compatible client. MindDory works with Claude today, plus Cursor, Continue, Zed, and Cline. Gemini does not speak MCP natively yet; support there is on the roadmap via OpenAPI actions. ChatGPT can reach remote MCP servers in its developer mode and MindDory meets the requirements OpenAI publishes, but nobody has completed that connection end to end, so it is not listed here yet.

Can my AI quiz me on the words I am learning?

Yes. With MindDory connected, you can ask what to review and the assistant answers from your actual due cards, weak words, and CEFR level.

Is automatic word capture private and consent-based?

Yes. It is opt-in: you connect MindDory yourself, and on its first reply the assistant tells you it will add vocabulary and grammar points as you chat. It never captures silently, and it answers honestly if you ask what it has saved.
