Plugins are ranked by what developers actually do, not by who paid the most. We track impressions, click-throughs, and install-command copies anonymously, blend in GitHub stars and a small recency boost, and let that decide order. There are no paid placements. Listing a plugin costs $25/year and keeps things tidy — it does not affect rank.
