Create a key

Connect your assistant

On the Use in Claude / Codex page, pick the assistant you use and copy its URL or command into the assistant's settings. New to both? Start with Claude: paste one URL in its settings and you're done.

Does it cost extra?

No. It uses the credits in your Kolect account, at the same prices as the website. Checking your balance, looking up creators by link and saving are free.

What are MCP, the CLI and skills? Do I need to know?

No, just follow the steps on the Use in Claude / Codex page. In short: MCP is the standard way tools like Claude and Codex connect to outside services; the CLI is a command-line tool for assistants that can run commands; the skill is a guide that teaches the assistant to use Kolect well.

I've never used Claude or Codex. Which should I pick?

Claude (web or desktop): paste one URL in its settings, no command line needed. If you already use WorkBuddy or OpenClaw, stick with what you know.

Can free accounts use it?

Yes, with the 90 credits you get on sign-up. Lookup limits per call and per day follow your plan, as on the website.

What if my key leaks?

Delete it on the Use in Claude / Codex page; it stops working right away. Then create a new one. Don't share keys or post them anywhere public.

Does it support Douyin or Xiaohongshu?

Not yet: TikTok, Instagram and YouTube only.

Are the creator rates the assistant gives accurate?

Kolect has no creator rate data, so any price the assistant gives is its own estimate. Creators, followers and views come from Kolect's creator database.
