Connector
Ask your AI assistant about pensions from work abroad.
PensionHunter publishes a connector that ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini and other assistants (Meta Muse once Meta opens it) can attach to. It answers the same questions as our free checker: which countries we cover, what pension money is worth there, why the free route fails for someone living abroad, which country an employer name points to, and what that employer is called now according to official registers such as the Global LEI Index. For countries we have mapped but not yet researched in depth, it names the paying institution and its official route, and makes no offer. It also quotes what national pension institutions have told us in writing. Every fact carries its source and the date we read it.
It needs no account, and its research tools store nothing you type. It identifies and researches only. It gives no financial advice and takes no percentage of anyone's pension.
It can also add you to GPFR, the Global Pension Finding Register, free: your assistant shows you our consent text, and only after you say yes does it send us your details. That is the one tool that keeps anything: your email address and codes made from your name and date of birth, as our privacy notice says. You confirm by email yourself. No tool searches, lists or exports anyone in GPFR. About GPFR.
Read the announcement on our blog: PensionHunter now works inside Claude and other AI assistants.
How the employer lookup reads the registers, with real answers: What is my old employer called today?
The connector address
https://mcp.pensionhunter.ai Copy
You can also add us from inside Claude: Listed in Claude's connector directory.
We are also listed in the official MCP Registry as ai.pensionhunter/pensionhunter: our registry entry gives this same address as the remote server.
Paste this address wherever your assistant asks for a server URL. No sign up and no key are needed. The address forwards every request unchanged to our connector function, which on 7 October 2026 was tested from outside, anonymously, with no key, and listed its tools and answered.
If the address above does not answer, the same connector is reachable directly at:
https://givkcvqnhbuiprutblom.supabase.co/functions/v1/mcp-connector
Ask about what the authorities told us
The fifth tool, authority_answer, reads our answers page, where we publish the written replies national pension institutions have sent us. Give it a country and a question in your own words, for example whether a matter can be dealt with without travelling there, or what heirs need. It returns the institution, its answer exactly as published, our translation where there is one and marked as ours, the date of the reply and the link to that answer on our answers page. When the question matches nothing, it lists the questions we hold answers to for that country. When we have written to a country and hold no answer yet, it says so with the date we asked, read from the same record of letters as our country by country index.
It names institutions only, never a person. A passage that gives a contact detail stays on our answers page, and the tool returns its link instead. Replies an institution has not yet cleared for publication are not on our answers page, so the tool does not have them.
Answers in 27 languages
Every tool takes an optional language, as an ISO 639-1 code. Your assistant passes it when you write in one of our languages, and our own sentences come back in it: the notes, the line we give for a mapped country, what an employer is called today, the gap sentences we repeat across countries, and the labels for source and read date. They come from translation tables we publish with the connector, one per language, never from a machine translation at the moment you ask. Each answer says these are translations of our own wording and that a review is recommended.
The facts do not change. A sourced fact, a number, a date, a name or an institution's written answer stays exactly as stored, in English or in the language of the source. Where we hold a translation of a fact in our table, it appears next to the original and is marked as a translation. Dates inside translated sentences are written as year, month and day. A language we do not serve gets the English answer with a note.

Connect it to Claude
Steps checked against Anthropic's help pages.
- Custom connectors are available on Claude's Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. Free accounts can add one custom connector.
- Open Claude's settings, go to Connectors and choose to add a custom connector.
- Name it PensionHunter and paste the address above as the server URL, then add it. The Add to Claude button above opens the same step with the name and address filled in.
- On Team and Enterprise plans an Owner adds the connector for the organisation first.
- In a chat, switch the connector on and ask Claude about your working history.
Read from Claude Help Center, custom connectors using remote MCP on 7 October 2026. Vendors change these screens; if a step no longer matches, their page is the authority.
Connect it to ChatGPT
Steps checked against OpenAI's help pages. OpenAI currently limits this to Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces.
- A workspace admin or owner switches on developer mode in the workspace settings.
- In developer mode, create a new app and paste the address above as the MCP server URL.
- Test it privately, then the admin publishes it for the workspace.
- In a chat, switch the app on and ask ChatGPT about your working history.
Read from OpenAI Help Center, developer mode and MCP apps on 7 October 2026. Vendors change these screens; if a step no longer matches, their page is the authority.
Connect it to Grok
Partly checked. xAI documents custom connectors, but we could not read every step of the dialog today.
- Go to grok.com/connectors.
- Click New Connector and choose to add your own MCP server.
- Paste the address above as the server URL.
- On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin provisions the connector first.
Read from xAI documentation, Grok connectors on 7 October 2026. Vendors change these screens; if a step no longer matches, their page is the authority.
Connect it to Gemini
Confirmed for Gemini Enterprise Business Edition, set up by a team administrator. This is not the consumer Gemini app on your phone or the web, which has no step for adding a server. Google's page offers two authentication options, OAuth 2.0 and No authentication for servers with no authentication requirement. Only StreamableHTTP transport is supported; the legacy SSE transport is not. The server must be exposed to the public internet over HTTPS. PensionHunter serves StreamableHTTP over public HTTPS and needs no authentication.
- The team administrator opens Business Edition settings, then Manage team, then Connected apps, then Add MCP Server.
- Paste the address above as the server URL and select No authentication.
- Name the connector PensionHunter, pick a data location and enable it.
Read from Gemini Enterprise Help, Set up your custom MCP server connection for Gemini Enterprise on 7 October 2026. Vendors change these screens; if a step no longer matches, their page is the authority.
Connect it to Meta Muse
Not open to the public yet. Meta's connector platform is a developer preview: developers apply for early access, describe their endpoints through a guided screen or MCP onboarding, and connectors built during the preview are not yet available to people using Meta AI. There is no step today where a user pastes a server address. We will list steps here when Meta publishes them.
- Nothing to do on your side yet. PensionHunter would have to be accepted into Meta's developer preview and approved before Muse can use these tools.
Read from Meta AI Connectors, developer page on 7 October 2026. Vendors change these screens; if a step no longer matches, their page is the authority.
Grok: what this reaches and what it does not
xAI supports remote MCP tools, so this connector works with Grok used as an assistant with connectors. The Grok bot that people tag inside posts on X is a different surface. It takes no connector at all, and nothing we build reaches it. Any answer it gives about pensions abroad comes from what it reads on the open web, so the only way to be useful there is to publish sourced, dated pages worth citing.
Self hosted and open source clients
The Model Context Protocol is a protocol, not a vendor feature, so the same address serves any client that speaks it, including local models run through Ollama or LM Studio. Below are the clients whose setup we could read in their current documentation on 7 October 2026. Continue is left out: its documentation today shows only local server examples, and we would rather omit it than guess the remote format.
LibreChat
Add to librechat.yaml:
mcpServers:
pensionhunter:
type: streamable-http
url: https://mcp.pensionhunter.ai
Read from LibreChat docs, MCP servers object structure on 7 October 2026.
LM Studio
Add to mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"pensionhunter": {
"url": "https://mcp.pensionhunter.ai"
}
}
}
Read from LM Studio docs, MCP integrations on 7 October 2026.
Open WebUI
Version 0.6.31 or later. An admin opens Settings, Admin, Integrations, then under External Tool Servers clicks Add Connection, sets Type to MCP (Streamable HTTP) and pastes the address above as the Server URL, with no auth. Alternatively choose Type OpenAPI and use the OpenAPI description below.
Read from Open WebUI docs, Model Context Protocol on 7 October 2026.
Cline
In the Cline panel open MCP Servers, then the Remote Servers tab. Enter PensionHunter as the Server Name, the address above as the Server URL, choose Streamable HTTP and click Add Server.
Read from Cline docs, MCP on 7 October 2026.
Frameworks that read OpenAPI instead of MCP
The same tools are served as plain JSON over HTTP. The description is at the address below; each tool is a POST to /tools/ followed by its name, with the same rules and the same next step, one structured field with the fee and the order link.
https://mcp.pensionhunter.ai/openapi.json
A copy is published at /.well-known/openapi.json, with a server card at /.well-known/mcp.json, which the connector also serves at https://mcp.pensionhunter.ai/.well-known/mcp.json.
For a custom GPT, /.well-known/openapi-gpt-actions.json describes the read-only tools of our Pro API in the form GPT Actions accept, with the key as an API key. For function calling, /.well-known/function-tools.json lists the same tools as function declarations. Both are generated from the same description; how they are made is on the developers page.
Register freshness
Each day we read official company and pension registers again for the employers, schemes and administrators we hold, and we keep every reading with its source and the date we read it. Below is the date we last read each register on that daily schedule. A reading never changes a fact a person confirmed; when a register disagrees with one, we look at it by hand.
We have not yet read any register on the daily schedule.
The date we last verified each family of facts for each country, deadlines, official portals, routes from abroad and authority answers, is on our status and data freshness page.
Order through your assistant
When you ask your AI assistant to order a report, it can open a checkout for the countries you choose. The connector's create_order_link tool sends us the country codes and the report you picked, never your name or email address. We open a secure Stripe checkout and your assistant gives you the link. You enter your email address and pay on Stripe's page, and nothing is charged until you do. The link works for about a day.
- Country Pension Identification Report: $99 per country.
- Enhanced Pension Identification Report: $199, for one country.
- Global Pension Identification Report: $299, for two or more countries.
Only countries we cover can be ordered. If a checkout cannot be opened, your assistant gives you our order page with the same choices filled in. For each checkout opened we keep the country codes and the time, nothing else. After payment you land on the same confirmation screen and receive the same emails as an order placed on our site.
Put the free check on your site
Site owners can embed our free check with one script tag. It runs the same two tools, list_covered_countries and check_work_history, in a frame on our own address, at no fee, and collects no personal data. The snippet, a live demo and the terms are on the embed page.
What the connector does not do
It states why the free route fails from abroad. It does not name which scheme holds your record, who administers it today or how to reach them. That is the work in the Country Pension Identification Report: a fixed fee of $99 per country, delivered within 24 to 48 hours, with a full refund if we find nothing material.
