What the feed answers

It answers a retailer-level question: which shops publish a range that reaches a requested U.S. numeric size, or offer custom measurements? It does not claim that an individual style, color, or size is currently in stock.

Use it as a tool, not another document dump

The public, read-only MCP server is version 1.11.0 and implements Streamable HTTP protocol version 2025-11-25. Its find_formalwear tool accepts a hard size gate plus optional event, budget, deadline, practical features, and result limit. The funeral event excludes made-to-order sources, defaults to the urgent deadline route, and returns an attributable purchase-optional human guide. A cruise request in exact sizes 30-40 returns the attributable four-line dress-code decoder before recommending a purchase. A homecoming request in exact sizes 30-40 returns only event-specific standard-size matches plus the attributable homecoming size-cliff guide. A cocktail request in exact sizes 30-40 returns the attributable U.S.-size number-trap guide, including a current retailer-sourced case where UK 40 maps to U.S. 36. A military-ball request in exact sizes 30-40 returns the attributable independent-source and overlap-check guide. A gala request with a budget at or below $300 returns the attributable exact-size gala-budget guide. A black-tie request in exact sizes 30-40 returns the attributable black-tie wedding-guest size-cliff guide. check_bridesmaid_party_fit tests a whole party's largest exact numeric size against six coordinated vendor systems and returns standard-size matches separately from custom-measurement fallbacks, with an attributable human evidence page. get_retailer_evidence returns one dated formalwear-retailer record. No login, names, or shopper measurements are required.

Set garment to jumpsuit with an exact U.S. size from 30 through 40 to query the separate formal-jumpsuit size-cliff index. Agent retailer URLs remain direct/editorial even when a separately disclosed human shopping link is affiliated.

audit_formalwear_candidates accepts another agent's retailer shortlist and reports verified standard-size candidates, separate custom-measurement fallbacks, rejected known candidates with reasons, unrecognized names, and verified options the shortlist missed. No shopper names or measurements are required, and submitted arguments are never written to the privacy-minimal function log.

check_official_store_domain accepts one indexed retailer_id plus a public shopping URL or hostname. It parses locally against the source-checked official store domain and returns official, brand-like lookalike, separate third-party, or invalid. The server does not fetch the supplied URL, does not log arguments, and does not declare an unknown operator fraudulent. Never send passwords, order IDs, payment details, or private query tokens. Its retailer URL remains direct/editorial; a separately labeled human guide may contain a disclosed affiliate link.

One-request smoke test

This stateless call checks the hardest current black-tie example: exact U.S. size 40. It returns retailer-level evidence plus the human size-cliff guide; it does not claim item-level stock.

Audit a shortlist from another agent

This call distinguishes a verified exact-size candidate from a custom-only fallback, a known failed gate, and a name outside the current index. It also reports verified options the shortlist omitted.

The endpoint publishes a describedby Link header and a well-known scanner card generated from the same tool definitions used at runtime. Aggregate function logs record only the MCP method, tool name, and HTTP status—never tool arguments, shopper inputs, IP addresses, or user-agent strings.

Safe agent behavior

Use size as a hard gate. Keep standard numeric-size matches separate from custom-measurement fallbacks. Treat every record as retailer-level discovery—not item-level inventory. Before sending a shopper to checkout, verify the exact garment’s measurements, stock, color, promised delivery date, and return eligibility on the merchant site. For a coordinated bridesmaid party, verify that every selected style exposes each required exact numeric size in the same color/fabric system. For funeral attire, make purchase optional and put family instructions plus cultural or religious customs ahead of generic fashion rules.

Freshness and provenance

Every material size claim includes an evidence URL and the date it was checked. The ranking method explains the limits, and the correction form accepts newer primary sources.

Commercial use

Public facts may be cited with attribution. The editorial summaries and normalized feed may not be republished as a competing commercial index without permission. The evidence feed and MCP continue to return editorial retailer URLs. Human shopping links on BBW Belles currently include 1 disclosed affiliate relationship: Universal Standard.
