What your assistant can do

  • Organize your library

    Create projects and libraries, then upload and index new papers into them.

  • Search by meaning

    Find the passages that answer a question, with the paper and page they come from.

  • Ask the research agent

    Hand a question to the Agent Bayes agent and get back an answer where every claim is cited.

  • Build mindmaps

    Create and edit mindmaps, and let the agent add cited claims as your research grows.

Installation

Connected in three steps

  1. Create a key

    In the app, open Settings → API Keys and click Create API key. The key appears once. Copy it now. If you use more than one device, make a key for each, so you can revoke one without breaking the others.

  2. Tell your assistant about it

    Run in your terminal

    The same key also works as Authorization: Bearer sk-your-key if your client prefers standard bearer headers.

  3. Ask something

    Try: "Look at my Agent Bayes projects and tell me what my papers say about X, with citations." Your assistant reads the operating manual first, then gets to work.

Research skill

Automated Research Skills

The MCP server gives your assistant the tools. The research skill shows it how to use them well, at whatever size you ask for, with you guiding each step or checking in at milestones.

  • Answers a quick question from your papers, or carries a seed idea all the way to a typeset paper
  • Finds and indexes papers, then shows what your library covers and where it is thin
  • Reviews a draft: its citations, its numbers, and its method
  • Checks every citation against the page it cites before you see it View on GitHub
