Other AI apps aren't supported yet. If you'd like EstimateKit in one, tell us which.

Sign-in uses OAuth: you sign in on estimatekit.com, never inside Claude or ChatGPT, and the assistant gets access for your login only. To see what's connected, or to disconnect, open Connectors → Claude & ChatGPT in EstimateKit; disconnecting stops access straight away.

What to ask

"What needs my attention today?"

Overdue invoices, finished jobs with no invoice, approved quotes waiting for a date, quotes a customer opened but hasn't answered, and jobs with no tech.

"Draft a good, better, best quote for the Hansens: replace their 3-ton AC and furnace. Use my changeout template."

A draft in EstimateKit with three options at your price book prices, every line listed back to you, and a link to review and send it.

"Who owes me money, and how late are they?"

Unpaid and overdue invoices with the balance on each.

"What equipment does Maria Lopez have, and when was it installed?"

Her units with brand, model, serial and age, plus her maintenance plan and past quotes.

"Here's a voicemail from a new customer. Add them and start a quote for a no-heat call."

The customer added from the details in your message, and a draft quote started for them.

"Which quotes did customers open this week but not answer?"

The quotes to follow up on, with how long ago each was opened.

What it can and can't do

  • Read. Your home-screen to-do list, customers with their equipment and maintenance plans, quotes and their options, jobs, invoices, your price book and your quote templates.
  • Add and update customers. From an email, a voicemail or call notes. It looks for an existing customer before adding one. Owners and office admins only.
  • Draft quotes. Good, better and best options from one of your templates or from price book items at your prices, with your tax rates. Always saved as a draft, marked as drafted by the assistant. Prices come from your price book or from you, never guessed. Owners and office admins only.

It never:

  • Send a quote, invoice or message to a customer. You review drafts in EstimateKit and press Send yourself.
  • Delete anything, record payments, or change your prices, settings or team.
  • See more than your login can. A technician's assistant sees what that technician sees in the app.

Questions

Is this an official EstimateKit app?

Yes. EstimateKit built and runs it, and it's listed in Claude's connector directory and in ChatGPT's plugin directory.

Does it cost extra?

No. It's included in the $49 a month plan and the 14-day trial.

Can it send a quote to my customer?

No. It only creates drafts. Every quote it makes is waiting in EstimateKit for you to check, adjust and send.

Where do the prices come from?

Your own price book and templates in EstimateKit, the same prices the app uses. It uses a price you give it only when you give one, and it flags any line that has no price instead of guessing.

What does the assistant see?

Only what you ask about, and only what your EstimateKit login is allowed to see. How Claude or ChatGPT then handles the conversation is covered by Anthropic's or OpenAI's terms.

How do I disconnect it?

Owners and office admins: in EstimateKit, open Connectors, then Claude & ChatGPT, and press Disconnect. Access stops straight away. Anyone can also remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT.

Does it work for my techs?

Yes. Each person connects with their own login and sees what their role allows. Only owners and office admins can add customers or draft quotes. Techs can remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT, or ask the owner to disconnect it.

Not using EstimateKit yet?

It's quoting and job software for small and medium home service shops, up to 25 people: good, better, best quotes that work offline, customer approval on their phone, jobs, invoices and card payments, for $49 a month. Start the 14-day trial, no card needed. Questions: hello@estimatekit.com.
