The TalkToHumans MCP lets AI clients securely interact with your LinkedIn data.

The server is listed in the official MCP Registry as io.github.TalkToHumans/linkedin-mcp and on GitHub.

Prefer a CLI? Terminal agents like Claude Code and Codex can use the LinkedIn CLI instead: same tools and playbooks, without loading tool definitions into every session.

How to install

Pick your AI client. Each one asks you to sign in to TalkToHumans once.

Claude

Works the same on claude.ai and in the Claude desktop app.

1. Open Customize > Connectors, click + Add > Add custom connector
2. Name it "TalkToHumans" and paste the URL:

3. Click Continue, then Add, and sign in to TalkToHumans

To use it in a chat, click + > Connectors and turn TalkToHumans on.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner first adds it in Organization settings > Connectors. Members then click Connect in Customize > Connectors.

Claude Code

In a terminal, run:

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user talktohumans https://api.talktohumans.app/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code, pick talktohumans and sign in.

ChatGPT

1. Open Plugins in the sidebar, click + > Add custom MCP server
2. Name it "TalkToHumans" and paste the URL:

3. Click Create as a plugin and sign in to TalkToHumans

To use it in a chat, type @TalkToHumans. Custom MCP servers need a ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu plan, where an admin may need to allow them.

Codex

In a terminal, run:

Cursor asks you to sign in the first time it uses TalkToHumans.

VS Code

1. Open the Command Palette and run MCP: Add Server
2. Choose HTTP and paste the URL:

3. Name it talktohumans, choose Global, and sign in when VS Code asks

Other

Any client that supports remote MCP servers (Streamable HTTP with OAuth) can use the same URL:

Then ask your AI client: "Use TalkToHumans to list my LinkedIn accounts." You should see the accounts connected to your workspace.

You need a workspace on the Pro plan with LinkedIn connected. If you signed up from your AI client, open the web app once to finish setup.
