Questions that work

  • What sites launched in the UK with WordPress this week, only ones with a contact email?

  • What is example.com built with?

  • Which analytics tools are growing fastest this quarter?

  • Watch for new Shopify launches in Germany and email me daily.

Runs on your StackScope Data plan, the same as the API.

Sign in and approve access the first time. Disconnect any time from API keys.

Command-line tools and editors receive the sign-in callback on your own
machine. Keep the app running while you approve, or the browser will show
                    a connection error at `127.0.0.1`.

Claude and ChatGPT

Settings, then connectors, then add a custom connector. Paste the address.

Claude Code

Then run /mcp to sign in.

What it costs

The same as the API, because it is the API. One site from your monthly allowance for each site returned to you for the first time this period. Repeats are free, and calls themselves are not capped.

Before a large result, StackScope tells your assistant what it will cost
and waits for you to approve it:

i

This returns 240 sites, all new to you this period. That uses 240 of the
2,847 sites left in your allowance this period. Go ahead?

Nothing is charged unless you say yes. Small calls do not interrupt you, and account_status reports what is left for free.

What your assistant can do

Tools appear only if your plan and the permissions you granted allow them.

account_status

Plan, permissions and remaining allowance. Free.

lookup_site

Everything known about one site.

list_technologies

The technology catalogue with usage counts.

find_sites

Search by technology, category, country, dates and contact availability.

technology_sites

Sites using one technology, newest first.

technology_trend

Weekly adoption of a technology over time.

stack_breakdown

Counts and shares for a set of sites: how many use each technology, grouped by kind. "What payment providers do Ghost sites use" in one call, with no site allowance spent.

export_sites

Bulk export, up to 5,000 sites, with optional CSV.

list_watches create_watch delete_watch

Standing watches delivered by email or webhook.

Prefer plain HTTP?

All of it is available over the HTTP API.
