What is GriffNode?

GriffNode is a non-custodial cryptocurrency payment gateway for merchants. Customers pay Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Dash or ERC-20 stablecoins directly to your own wallet. GriffNode never holds your funds, requires no KYC, and charges a flat monthly fee instead of a percentage of each sale.

We never hold your money

Your customer pays crypto straight into your own wallet. GriffNode isn't a stop on the way. There's no account holding your funds, so there's nothing for anyone to freeze, review, or claw back.

An xPub can only receive

You share an extended public key. By math, it can only generate receiving addresses. It can never spend or move a cent. That's not policy; it's cryptography.

Even if we're hacked

There is nothing to steal. We hold no keys and no balances. The worst case can't reach your money, because your money was never here.

Do I need to complete KYC to accept crypto payments?

No. Zero identity verification required. Sign up with just an email, connect your wallet using your xPub, and start accepting payments immediately. No ID documents, no selfies, no address checks. GriffNode is non-custodial: since we never hold your funds, there is no regulatory requirement to verify who you are.

What cryptocurrencies can I accept with GriffNode?

Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Dash (DASH) are supported, along with major ERC-20 tokens (USDT, USDC, DAI and more) paid to your Ethereum address. Every coin and token is sent directly to your own wallet, so we never hold or intermediate your funds.

How much does GriffNode charge per transaction?

Nothing. GriffNode takes no percentage of your sales and charges no per-transaction fees. Plans are flat monthly subscriptions starting free. Your customers pay only the blockchain network fee. No hidden charges, no chargebacks.

How quickly can I start accepting crypto payments?

Most merchants are live in under an hour. Sign up, paste your wallet's xPub, integrate one API call (or copy our checkout snippet), and you're accepting payments. No sales calls, no approval process.

Is it safe to share my xPub with GriffNode?

Absolutely. Your xPub only allows generating public receiving addresses, so it is impossible to access or spend funds with just an xPub. Your private keys always remain under your full control, stored only in your own wallet.

Can I switch between plans?

Yes, any time from your dashboard. An upgrade takes effect as soon as it is paid. A downgrade takes effect immediately, and the unused days on your current plan are credited back to your balance.
