Common questions

Do I need to know how to code?

No. ShopMCP connects Claude to your Shopify store so you can make changes by describing them in plain language. If you can write a message, you can edit your store.

What is MCP and do I need Claude Desktop?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard that lets Claude connect to external tools and services. To use ShopMCP you need Claude Desktop (free) with the ShopMCP connector configured — setup takes about two minutes and we walk you through it in the documentation.

What's the difference between Lite and Basic?

Both plans include all current ShopMCP features — theme editing, page and blog creation, navigation editing, CSV product import, and bulk product editing. Basic adds priority support and will include the upcoming AI Google Shopping feed editor when it launches.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel any time directly from your Shopify admin. No questions asked, no hidden fees.

Can agencies use ShopMCP across multiple client stores?
