Use Bible Glide in ChatGPT
Add Bible Glide as a remote MCP app so ChatGPT can read your Daily Scripture, Lectionary Daily Scripture, small-group readings, notes, and recent activity, then use Bible Glide chat when you ask for explanation or reflection.

Add the Bible Glide MCP app
- 1. In ChatGPT settings, enable Developer mode for custom MCP apps. The exact settings label can vary while the feature is rolling out and may depend on your plan or workspace permissions.
- 2. Create a new app or custom MCP connector and paste the server URL above.
- 3. Select OAuth if ChatGPT asks for an authentication method, then scan or refresh the tools.
- 4. Approve the Bible Glide connection, then choose the Bible Glide app in a ChatGPT conversation.

Privacy and control
Bible Glide uses OAuth scopes for MCP access. Read tools are marked as read-only, and chat requests go through the same moderation, usage, and persistence path as the Bible Glide app. Disconnect the app from your MCP client if you no longer want it to access your account.
