AppFactory

Takes your coding agent (Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor) from an iOS app idea to the App Store: niche research, design, SwiftUI build, Supabase backend, subscriptions, ASO listing and TestFlight upload. 127 tools; anything that goes live waits for your approval.

Documentation

01 · Idea

Scored before you write a line

Live App Store data: what people type into search, how strong the leaders are, how long since they updated and what they charge.

02 · Design

Designed against the leaders

It studies the top apps' screenshots and icons, then designs every screen from a brief that sets yours apart from them.

03 · App

A SwiftUI app from a tested base

Onboarding, paywall, settings, analytics hooks and tests. The stage closes only when it builds and the tests pass.

04 · Store

A listing in every language you pick

Subscriptions, prices, metadata, keywords and screenshots. The listing is checked against Apple's limits before it can be uploaded.

05 · TestFlight

Shipped, with your yes

Signed, archived and uploaded to TestFlight. Live changes wait for your approval by default, and App Store submission always does.

One pipeline, from idea to TestFlight

Every stage closes only when its checks pass and, by default, stops for you before anything spends money or goes live. Open any stage to see what the agent does.

Know if an idea can win

Chart sweeps, a 0 to 100 niche score from live App Store data, competitor price ladders and a name checked against the store.

See how it works

Keywords and a listing that passes

Keyword ideas from App Store autocomplete, a listing for every store language you pick and a check against Apple's limits and the keyword rules.

See how it works

A design that stands apart

Studies the category leaders, writes a cited brief that steers away from them, then designs every screen and the icon.

See how it works

A real app, proven by its tests

Onboarding, paywalls, settings and tests from one spec, done only when the build and the tests are green.

See how it works

Secret keys stay out of the app

A Supabase backend per app, server side usage limits, legal pages in every app language and an AI proxy that keeps the provider key off the device.

See how it works

Subscriptions set up in one pass

Subscription group, trials, local prices, RevenueCat and a StoreKit config, planned, checked and applied from one spec.

See how it works

Screenshots in every language

Up to six branded screens in every store language you pick, an upload that skips what the store already has, and App Preview videos checked before upload.

See how it works

From green tests to TestFlight

Signing, archive and upload in one approved step, gated on green smoke tests by default. It never submits for review.

See how it works

Growth tools included

Slideshows for TikTok and Reels and an optional loop of rating requests, sharing and invite links. Nothing is posted for you.

Built on apps that are live and earning

AppFactory is the pipeline behind our own apps. Dozens have shipped to the App Store with it, and the rules it enforces come from every review along the way.

Dozens

apps shipped

Real apps in real categories, each one taken from idea to the App Store through the same gated pipeline.

Zero

spam rejections

Not one app turned away under guideline 4.3. Every app gets its own idea, design and listing, so none looks like a copy.

1st

try approvals

Several were approved on their very first submission, because the store checks run before the upload, not after a rejection.

Paired with steady marketing, these apps earn every month. AppFactory gets you to a polished launch; growth still takes the work every app needs.

No mockups. This is the agent at work.

Sped up, unedited: AppFactory scores water tracking niches with live App Store data. That first step needs no accounts at all.

Your agent writes the code. AppFactory makes sure it ships, and asks you before anything goes live.

Everything between the idea and the build, already solved

Ideas with numbers behind them

Niches scored by search demand, competition and how stale the leaders are, with competitor price ladders and a name check before you commit.

A real app, not a demo

SwiftUI from a tested template: onboarding, paywalls, settings, analytics hooks and tests. iPhone, iOS 17.5 and later.

Subscriptions from day one

Subscriptions with trials and local prices in App Store Connect, RevenueCat offerings and a StoreKit config generated from the same spec and checked against it.

Launch assets in every language you pick

Localized metadata, ASO keywords, legal pages, branded screenshots and custom product pages built from your spec, plus App Preview videos checked against Apple's rules before upload.

Gates, not guesses

A stage is done only when its checks pass. When something needs you, the run stops and leaves a note that says what you need to do.

Three steps from purchase to your first build

01

Install and activate

Install the package from your download, paste your license key once, add it to your agent.

uv tool install ./appfactory-*.whl appfactory activate claude mcp add appfactory -- appfactory-mcp

02

Choose what you use

Turn on only the services you need. Research needs no accounts. Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, Firebase, GitHub and AI providers are all optional, with your own keys.

03

Ask for an app

The agent runs the pipeline stage by stage. By default you approve anything that spends money or goes live, and App Store submission always waits for your approval.

See the whole run next to the chat

A Claude Code plugin that ships with AppFactory and turns the pipeline into a live pane beside your conversation.

  • Progress and gates. Every stage marked done, next or pending, with its gate checked whenever the run moves.
  • Setup blockers. Missing keys, stale sessions and unconfirmed options, before they stop the run.
  • Approvals. A toast, a notification and a copy button for every appfactory approve command.
  • Time. How long each stage took and an estimate of the time left.

Pay once. Build as many apps as you like.

No subscription and no per app fee. The services you turn on bill you directly: Apple's Developer Program is $99 a year, Supabase and RevenueCat start free.

Questions before you buy

What do I need to run it?

A Mac, uv and a coding agent that speaks MCP: Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI or Cursor. Idea research works with nothing else. Building and shipping need Xcode and an Apple Developer Program membership.

Does it submit my app to the App Store?

Only with your approval. It takes the app to TestFlight and prepares the submission. Submitting for review always waits for an approval you give yourself, even when other approvals are turned off, and a first subscription is submitted by you in App Store Connect.

Will Apple reject apps made from a template?

Apple rejects near identical apps (guidelines 4.2.6 and 4.3). Not one of the dozens of apps we shipped with AppFactory was rejected as spam: the pipeline gives each app its own idea, design, copy and listing. Keep doing that, and submit from your own developer account.

Is my data sent anywhere?

Only to the services you turn on, with your own keys. There is no telemetry. The one call AppFactory makes for itself is a weekly license check that sends your license key, your Mac's name and an anonymous hash of its hardware id to Polar.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The license is checked once a week; without a connection every tool keeps working for 30 days.

Can I move it to a new Mac?

Yes. A license runs on one Mac at a time. Run appfactory deactivate on the old Mac (or release it in your Polar account), then activate on the new one.

How do updates arrive?

New versions appear in your Polar account and in an email. Download the new package and install it over the old one; your settings stay.

What does it cost to run?

AppFactory itself costs nothing after the purchase. Apple charges $99 a year for the Developer Program. Supabase, RevenueCat, Firebase and GitHub all have free plans that cover a new app; AI providers bill by use, and only if your app uses AI.

Can I get a refund?

Because the full product is delivered the moment you buy, all sales are final. If a charge was a mistake or the license cannot be activated on a supported Mac, write to [email protected] and we will sort it out.
