How to connect

  1. Add the server URL in an AI that accepts a remote MCP server. There is no API key.
  2. Widely opens. You sign in and approve what that AI may do.
  3. Disconnect it any time in the Widely app under Account → Connected apps.

What it can do

  • List my numbers, SIMs, and extensions — The phone numbers, caller IDs, verified SIM numbers, PBX extensions, and eSIMs on this Widely seat, and the provider that supplies each.
  • Search call history — Find calls by date, direction, contact, or number. On Pro, also search the words in a transcript. One row per call, with outcome and whether a transcript or recording exists.
  • Get one call — Full detail for one call, including which identity and provider carried it.
  • Get a call transcript — The stored transcript for a call. On Pro, ask Widely to transcribe a call that does not have text yet.
  • Get a call recording link — A short-lived link for a recorded call. Business plan, and only if you approved recordings. Available now.
  • List voicemails — Recent voicemails with caller, time, duration, and transcript text when one exists.
  • Get one voicemail — One voicemail and its transcript. Audio is available on Pro and above.
  • Search messages — Search Widely, SMS, and WhatsApp threads by keyword and date. On Pro, search the words that were said.
  • Read a message thread — Messages in one thread, oldest first.
  • Search contacts — Find saved contacts by name, with the numbers other tools can use.
  • Read usage — eSIM data and call usage already on this seat. Company usage is on Business. Available now.
  • Send a message — Send an SMS or a Widely message. Pro. Available now.
  • Place a call — Rings your phones first. The other person is called only after you answer, and the call shows as outgoing. You speak. Pro. Available now.
  • Speak on a call — The assistant calls and handles the task. The connected AI reads the summary itself. Pass connect_user and it asks them to hold, then your phones ring into the call and the assistant leaves. Business. Available now.
  • Control a live call — Hold, hang up, or transfer a call in progress. Business. Available now.
  • See call forwarding — See how your calls are forwarded. Pro. Available now.
