Works with AI assistants you’re already using
Many research MCP servers only read research you've already done. UXArmy's also runs new research.
Read: What your AI can see
Act: What AI does with your approval
Find the right study, and what it saidSearch all your projects and studies by description, with no IDs needed
Analyze resultsExtract themes, sentiment and exact quotes from every study type, and filter out junk
Spot problems in your studyFlag studies below target, tasks nobody reached and unusual sessions
Read interview transcriptsPull speaker labels, timestamps and a themed summary with verbatim quotes
Read sessions in other languagesReturn original-language transcripts so your AI translates them and keeps the quotes
Dig into one participantShow their device, every task answer, the tasks they never reached and a link to the replay
Recommend the right studyMatch your research question to the right method, whether that’s a usability test, survey, card sort, tree test or user interview
Create a surveyBuild a new survey from a prompt or your notes
Turn a study plan into a usability studyBuild the scenario, screener, tasks, rating scales and open questions
Fit the study to a time limitTrim tasks to a target duration and flag setup risks
Recruit the right participantsSet panel targeting (country, age, device) and draft screener questions
Launch the studyOpen it to participants only after you say “Launch it”
Hand results to your other tools in your workflowSend results to Slides, Slack, Notion, Jira or Linear through your assistant’s own connectors
It also manages the account: Update workspaces, roles, team and projects, and turn on AI features only with your confirmation
Does it work on a real study? We tested it
1 • ASK
Start from your study plan
Paste your notes or describe what you need to learn, in the AI tool you already have open.

2 • PLAN & DRAFT
Get the right study, built for you
Recommends the right study type, then builds the scenario, screener, tasks and questions.

3 • TRIM & OPTIMIZE
Fit it to your time limit
Trims tasks to a target duration and flags setup risks before anyone sees the study.

4 • Recruit & launch
Go live on your approval
Sets panel targeting and turns niche criteria into screener questions. Nothing goes live until you say "launch it".

5 • ANALYZE & SHARE
Turn responses into a deck
Extracts themes, sentiment and exact quotes, from this study or across every past study in your account, and hands off to Slides, Slack, Notion, Jira or Linear.

How is UXArmy's MCP server different from
UserTesting, Maze, Lyssna or Great Question?
Many research MCP servers are read-only, and several can create studies. UserTesting can also recruit and launch, but only for select Early Access teams. UXArmy takes a study from plan to recruitment and launches on its own panel, in one chat, on every plan including Free.

All Research Research Ops Design Product
Research
Summarise the top 5 usability issues from my last three studies, with quotes.
Turn this study plan into a UXArmy study, and tell me if it's too long.
Pull 10 quotes about pricing from last quarter's interviews, with timestamps.
Summarise the Japanese and Indonesian sessions together, keeping the original quotes.
Research Ops
List every study launched this quarter.
Which studies have tasks no participant reached, or sessions I should double-check?
Flag junk or low-effort answers in this study before I share the results.
Which workspaces can I create studies in, and is AI turned on in each?
Design
Walk me through what one participant did in the checkout prototype test, with the replay link.
What confused people on the insurance page? Group it into what worked and what didn't, with quotes.
Turn the open-text feedback from the prototype study into one slide for design review.
Check my prototype test before launch: are any tasks leading, or missing a start URL?
Product
Create a 5-question survey on onboarding friction and draft it for me to review before launching.
What blocked users in our last onboarding test?
Recruit 8 small business owners in the US for this study, and add screener questions to find people who recently switched accounting software.
Which research questions did the checkout study answer, and which are still open?

Can it turn findings into slides, tickets or Slack posts?
Yes. UXArmy brings the research into your AI assistant, and your assistant's other connectors take it from there. UXArmy never connects to those tools itself, so you control what gets shared and where.

Nick, Growth Lead
Summarise the open-text answers from this study and build a one-slide summary for our CEO.
Google Slides
A CEO-ready slide in minutes: headline, sentiment, what works vs what hurts, next step (tested)
Victor, Product Manager
Turn the issues from the checkout study into backlog tickets, with participant quotes
Jira or Linear
Tickets with the evidence attached, ready for the next sprint

Janice, Senior Researcher
Pull this month’s satisfaction survey responses and post a summary in #product
Slack
A monthly research update without anyone writing it
Menaka, Product Designer
Write up the onboarding study, suggest next steps and add it to our design wiki
Notion
A shareable write-up the whole team can find later
Works with the tools you already connect to your AI assistant
Google Slides, Slack, Notion, Linear, Jira via Atlassian, and more. What gets posted follows that tool's permissions.
Is it safe? Can it launch anything without me?
Same permissions as UXArmy
Claude only sees what your account can already see.
Sign in, no API keys
Approve access on UXArmy’s authorization page. No passwords or tokens in chat.
Nothing launches without you
Launching a study needs your explicit approval in the chat, and switching on AI features shows UXArmy's AI notice and asks you first.
Frequently asked questions
What is the UXArmy MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to other apps. UXArmy's MCP server lets AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Gemini CLI work inside your UXArmy account. You can ask questions about past studies, create surveys, turn a study plan into a ready-to-launch study, recruit participants from UXArmy's panel, and launch once you approve. Results and transcripts come back into the same chat, which your AI can pass on to Google Slides, Slack or Notion through its own connectors.
Can AI run a usability test for me?
AI can set up, recruit and launch a usability test and help analyze the results, but real participants still do the tasks. That's the point: you get evidence from real people, not AI guesses. Read: Can AI replace user testing?
Which AI tools work with UXArmy MCP Server?
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI and Cursor, plus any other AI tool that supports MCP. In ChatGPT, creating and launching studies needs a Business, Enterprise or Edu plan; Pro can read research.
Does it cost extra?
No. The connector is available on every UXArmy plan, including Free, at no extra cost. Launching studies uses credits, the same as in the UXArmy platform. Before launching, Claude checks your credit balance. If it isn't enough, it tells you what's left and asks you to top up in UXArmy; nothing launches until then.
Do I need to set anything up in UXArmy first?
For surveys, no: Claude creates them from the chat. For usability studies, Claude will ask you to create the study in UXArmy (a few clicks), then it builds out the tasks, questions and recruiting and launches it. A few settings, like voice recording, are switched on in the app.
Can it recruit participants?
Yes. Describe who you need in plain language. Claude sets UXArmy's panel targeting (country, age, device) and drafts screener questions for anything more specific, like recent purchases or tools people use. Panel participants use panel credits, bought separately in UXArmy, and you can also invite your own participants by contact list or a shared link.
Can it analyze open-ended answers and interviews?
Yes. Claude reads every answer, filters out junk responses, groups the rest into themes and sentiment, and quotes participants' exact words. For interviews, it reads the full transcript with speaker labels and timestamps.
Can it analyze studies in other languages?
Yes. Transcripts come back in their original language and Claude can translate and summarise them while keeping the original quotes.
Can it send findings to productivity tools such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Slack, Notion, Linear or Jira?
Yes, if those tools are also connected to your AI assistant. UXArmy gives the assistant the research; the assistant posts it using its own connectors. UXArmy doesn't connect to those tools directly.
Try it in your next study
Connect UXArmy to Claude, give it a study plan, and see what it builds before anything goes live.
