Truthifi MCP server
One verified household record in your AI assistant: accounts, activity, holdings, fees, performance, cash flow, the advisors on your accounts, financial diagnostics, and your Truthifi Score with the findings behind it.
It can't move money or place trades at your bank or brokerage.
Truthifi is the financial hub for families, advisors and AI agents: one verified household record they work on together, shared only on the household's terms. This MCP server brings that record into your AI assistant: accounts, activity, holdings, fees, performance, cash flow, the advisors on your accounts, financial diagnostics, and your Truthifi Score with the findings behind it, from 18,000+ supported institutions (through data partners; available data varies by institution). So your AI acts on what's real, not what's reported.
This repository holds documentation, client configuration and agent skills only. The server is hosted by Truthifi at https://api.truthifi.com/mcp; there is nothing to build or run.

Claude (web or desktop; then available on mobile): Customize → Connectors → + → Add custom connector → paste https://api.truthifi.com/mcp and leave Advanced settings empty. On Team or Enterprise, an Owner adds it first under Organization settings → Connectors.
ChatGPT (web): ChatGPT connects custom MCP servers through developer mode, which OpenAI describes as intended for developers; read OpenAI's guidance before turning it on. Then create an app, paste https://api.truthifi.com/mcp and choose OAuth. Which ChatGPT plans can use it, and whether tools that change data are allowed, is set by OpenAI; current steps: https://truthifi.com/connect.

Tools
30 tools. Truthifi's access to your bank and brokerage accounts is read-only: nothing your AI assistant does through Truthifi can move money, place trades or change settings there. Three tools change data inside Truthifi only, marked below.

About Truthifi
Truthifi is unlocking agentic finance for everyone. We believe a household should own the record of its financial life: everything comes in, and nothing goes out unless the household says so.

Security and privacy
- Your assistant can't move money, place trades or change anything at your bank or brokerage. Three tools change data inside Truthifi only.
- Data the tools return goes to the AI assistant you chose and is handled under that provider's terms.
- OAuth sign-in; credentials never pass through the chat.
