Every keyword is looked up and every field validated before anything is saved, so a leg or a stop is never silently dropped.

Can ChatGPT or Claude build a trading strategy for me?

Yes, with the Tradetron connector. You describe the rules in plain English and the AI builds them as a real strategy in your Tradetron account, checks every field, and can backtest it from the same chat. Without a connector, an AI can only write code that you then have to run yourself.

What is an MCP server?

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard AI apps use to reach outside services. Tradetron publishes one at https://mcp.tradetron.tech/mcp. You add that address to your AI app once, sign in with Tradetron, and its tools are available in every chat.

Is the Tradetron MCP connector free?

Connecting is free. The thinking runs on the AI subscription you already pay for. Backtests, deployments and other actions you run through it are charged at your usual Tradetron fees, the same as on the website.

Can the AI place trades with my money?

No. It can build, backtest, edit and explain strategies, and deploy them in Live Offline, which runs on live prices without sending any order. Going live stays with you, on Tradetron.

Which AI apps work with it?

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe the strategy in words. It is built as a normal Tradetron strategy that you can open, read and change in the Strategy Builder.

Is my Tradetron account safe?

You sign in on Tradetron's own page, so the AI app never sees your password. Every tool works only on your own account, and you can remove the connector from your AI app at any time.
