Co-Invest
officialInvest with Claude and other AI assistants
What can you do with Co Invest MCP?
- Research markets in chat — Ask your assistant to analyze positioning, funding, liquidation maps, or on-chain flow for crypto, stocks, commodities, indices, FX, or prediction markets.
- Build and confirm trades — Have the AI propose a long or short position with size, multiplier, and rationale, then approve it via a tap-to-confirm card before execution.
- Trade across asset classes — Request orders on BTC, ETH, SOL, Tesla, Nvidia, gold, oil, the S&P 500, FX pairs, or pre-IPO names like OpenAI, all from the same conversation.
- Practice with paper mode — Tell the assistant to switch to a simulated balance against live market data, test trade ideas, then flip back to live trading when ready.
- Get trade walkthroughs — Ask the AI to explain what's moving today and size up a position, with the option to place the order immediately after the analysis.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is Co-Invest? Co-Invest puts a real trading account inside Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Meta Muse. Ask your assistant about a market, get it to size up a position, or have it walk you through what's moving today, and then instantly place the trade. Same orders you'd send from the Liquid app, just through chat, and you tap to confirm every one. The Co-Invest docs cover the full detail.
- Can Claude or ChatGPT actually place real trades? Yes, but only when you say so. Every trade comes back as a confirmation card with the symbol, direction, size, multiplier, and a quick note on why. Tap Confirm to send it. Tap Cancel to throw it away. Even when the assistant suggests a basket of five trades, it's one tap from you that places them.
- How do I connect Co-Invest to Claude? Open the Claude setup guide In Claude, Co-Invest shows up as a custom connector. Open Claude's connector settings, click Add custom connector, name it Co-Invest, and paste https://coinvest.liquid.trade as the server URL. Hit Connect, sign in to your Liquid account, and you're done. The setup guide above has a short video that walks through it.
- How do I install Co-Invest in ChatGPT? Open the ChatGPT setup guide It takes about a minute. Open the Co-Invest app in ChatGPT's app directory, hit Connect, and approve access to your Liquid account. Start a new chat with Co-Invest selected and you can ask it to research a market or place a trade. The setup guide above runs through the same steps with screenshots if you'd rather follow along.
- Is Co-Invest an AI trading bot? No. A bot runs a strategy on its own and places orders while you're asleep. Co-Invest is an AI trading assistant: it does the research, builds the trade, and then waits for you to confirm it. If you do want scheduled, hands-off execution, that's Co-Invest Computer. Our guide to AI trading walks through where each approach makes sense.
- Can I use Co-Invest without a chat assistant? Yes. The Co-Invest Chrome extension drops a Long/Short card under every ticker on X, Reddit, TradingView, CNBC, Bloomberg, MetaTrader Web, and Axiom, so you trade with a tap where you formed the opinion — no conversation involved. There's also Co-Invest iMessage if you'd rather text your trades. Same account and same markets in all of them.
- Can the AI move my money without asking? No. Your funds sit in your own wallet, not on a Liquid server. The assistant can read your portfolio and suggest trades, but it can't transfer money out, change your account settings, or send a single order without you tapping Confirm. The worst it can do is propose a trade you don't like, and you ignore it.
- What can I trade through Co-Invest? Everything on Liquid. Crypto perps including BTC, ETH, and SOL. US stocks like Tesla, Apple, Nvidia, and SpaceX. Commodities like gold, silver, and oil. Indices like the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100. The major FX pairs. Pre-IPO names like OpenAI and Anthropic. You can also research and trade prediction markets on real-world events. Perpetual markets can be long or short with multipliers, stop-losses, and take-profits; prediction shares are unleveraged event contracts priced between $0 and $1.
- What does Co-Invest cost? Co-Invest itself is free. You pay the standard Liquid trading fees, which are generally lower than Coinbase or Robinhood on the same products, plus the usual funding rates if you're holding perps. No subscription, no AI surcharge, no hidden markup in the spread.
- Can I try Co-Invest without risking real money? Yep. Tell the assistant to switch to paper mode and your account flips to a simulated balance against live market data. Place a few test trades, see how the workflow feels, then switch back to live whenever you're ready. It's the easiest way to learn what works without putting a dollar on the line.
