  1. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins and click +, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Sellfy, and paste the URL above as the MCP endpoint.
  3. Leave authentication as detected, tick the acknowledgement that you trust the server, and create it.
  4. Sign in to Sellfy in the window that opens and click Allow.
  5. In a chat, type @ and pick Sellfy. Like Claude, this is needed each time you want it in a conversation.

Lovable: open Connectors, click +, choose MCP server, name it Sellfy, paste the URL, leave Connection on Direct connection, then Add & authorize.

Replit: open Settings, then Integrations, then MCP Servers. Click + Add MCP server, name it Sellfy, paste the URL, and click Test & save.

Mistral Le Chat: open Connectors under Intelligence, click + Add Connector, switch to Custom MCP Connector, name it sellfy with no spaces, paste the URL, and click Connect.

Any app that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP will work. In most of them an administrator can switch custom connectors off for a whole workspace, in which case the option is missing or greyed out.

What it won't do

Every line below is a property of how the connection is built, not a promise we are making.

It can't email your buyers

Campaigns are only ever created as drafts, and test emails go only to your own address. Sending to your list happens in the Sellfy dashboard, by you.

It won't publish anything on its own

New products are created unpublished, and publishing is a separate step you have to ask for. A digital product cannot go live at all until it has a file, text, link or license keys attached.

It can't delete a product or a discount

There are no tools to delete a product or a discount, and a discount can only be expired. The only things it can remove are a license key and a store draft.

It can't touch money

There are no tools to issue a refund or move money. Payouts, Stripe and PayPal work exactly as they do now.

It can't overwrite a change you just made

Storefront edits carry a revision check. If something changed since the assistant last looked, the write is rejected and it reads the page again first.

You stay in control of access

Disconnect in your assistant at any time. Changing your Sellfy password ends every connection at once.

What is an MCP server, in plain terms?

An MCP server is a connection that lets an AI assistant work inside another app rather than just talk about it. The Sellfy MCP server is the one for your store: once it is connected, your assistant can create products, set prices, build discount codes and read your sales, using your own Sellfy account. ### Is Sellfy MCP free?

Yes. The Sellfy MCP server is included on every Sellfy plan and it works during the 14-day free trial. There is no add-on, no usage fee and no separate signup. You need an AI assistant that supports MCP, and most offer a free tier. ### How do I connect Claude to my Sellfy store?

Open the Sellfy connector in the Claude directory, click Connect, sign in to Sellfy and click Allow. Then, in any chat, click + at the bottom left, choose Connectors, and switch Sellfy on.
