When a listing has instant checkout and a shipping price, the buyer pays by card through Stripe for a quantity below the quote threshold. A larger quantity, or a listing that is not open for instant checkout, uses a quote. The seller is the seller of record.

Agree the sale terms

Review the buyer’s request and agree the price and shipping arrangements directly. Sellers pay 5% of the item subtotal on completed sales; buyers pay no platform fee.

Conditional certificate review

A seller may require a resale certificate for a listing. Forthclear reviews it before that buyer can make a tax-exempt purchase; email confirmation alone is not buyer vetting.

Set the quantity, the asking price, and whether buyers can pay by card. A quote is only for quantities at or above your quote threshold, or when instant checkout is off.
