Ask your AI assistant for a local pro, and CrewButton can help you get prices in writing.

What it does

CrewButton sends one home-repair request to local businesses, and they reply with prices in writing, in one place. Nobody calls you, and your phone number stays private until you pick someone. This plug-in lets AI assistants help you get started:

  • Find local pros for a home job (find_local_pros)
  • Compare a quote with more local prices (compare_a_quote)
  • What to tell a pro so they can price the job (what_to_tell_a_pro)

The plug-in only counts local businesses and gives checklists and a link. It does not book work, take payment or share anyone's contact details. Sending a request happens on CrewButton, where the one-time fee is shown before you pay.

Add it to your assistant

Look for CrewButton in your AI app's connector or plug-in directory. In apps that let you add an MCP server yourself (often under Settings, then Connectors), use this address:

Privacy

What we receive. The trade (for example, Plumbing) and the ZIP code your assistant sends, plus standard request details such as the time, an IP address and the assistant app's name.

What we don't receive. Your name, your contact details or your conversation. The plug-in never asks for them.

Why we use it. We use the trade and ZIP code only to answer your assistant's request. We use the counts below to see how the plug-in is used and to keep it from being overloaded.

What we keep. A count of calls: which tool, which trade, whether businesses were found, and which assistant app. These counts contain no personal information, and we limit how often the plug-in can be called per assistant app, not per person. Our hosting providers keep basic request logs, including IP addresses, for security.

Sharing. We do not sell this information. It is handled by the vendors that run our service (Vercel and Supabase for hosting, PostHog for usage counts), as described in our privacy policy.

How long we keep it. Request logs, including IP addresses, are deleted automatically within 7 days. We keep the counts only as long as we need them to understand how the plug-in is used.

Your choices. Your AI app only contacts CrewButton when it uses the plug-in to help you. You can turn the plug-in off or remove it in your AI app's settings at any time. To ask about any data, or to have it deleted, email jude@crewbutton.com.
