Documentation

Connect your account over MCP and ask your AI assistant about your patrol rounds, guards, checkpoints and incidents. When you want to change something, it proposes the change and you confirm it.
Your guard tour system, inside the assistant you already use
The PatrolTech MCP connector gives Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Cursor and any compatible client secure access to your account. You sign in with your PatrolTech user and the assistant sees what you see: the organizations and sites you have access to, with the permissions of your role. It can look up rounds, scans, incidents and access logs, and prepare changes such as new checkpoints or routes. Nothing is applied until you confirm it. It works on the Free plan and replies in your language.
What you can ask
Write the way you would talk to your operations manager. The assistant picks the right lookup and answers with your account's data.
- "Which patrol rounds were missed yesterday?"
- "Show me suspicious scans from the last 7 days."
- "Which checkpoints haven't been scanned in over a week?"
- "Who is inside the warehouse right now?"
- "Create a night route with Main entrance, Parking and Loading dock, every hour from 22:00 to 06:00."
- "Mark the 'Broken fence' incident as resolved with a comment."
Your AI assistant
Connected to PatrolTech over MCP
- Which patrol rounds were missed yesterday?
- Yesterday had 14 scheduled rounds: 13 completed and 1 missed, the 03:00 round at North Warehouse. The 05:00 round was also incomplete: the "Loading dock" checkpoint was skipped.
- Add "Loading dock" to the evening route too.
- Here is the change I'd make: add "Loading dock" at the end of the "North Warehouse Evening" route. Shall I confirm it?
- Yes, go ahead.
- Done. The "North Warehouse Evening" route now includes "Loading dock".

MCP connector FAQ
Do I need a paid plan to use the connector?▼
No. The MCP connector works from PatrolTech's Free plan, which includes 5 checkpoints and unlimited guards.
Can the assistant delete my data?▼
No. No AI assistant can delete anything in PatrolTech, invite users, change roles, create guard credentials or touch billing. The changes it can prepare, such as creating a checkpoint or updating an incident, are only applied once you confirm them.
Which language does it reply in?▼
Yours. The assistant replies in the language you write in.
I manage several client companies. Can I query all of them?▼
Yes. The connector works across multiple organizations and sites: the assistant sees every one your user has access to and asks which one you mean when it needs to.
How do I disconnect it?▼
From your assistant's connector settings: remove or disconnect the PatrolTech connector and access is revoked.
Where is PatrolTech listed for AI assistants?▼
The Claude community connector is published and the server is in the official MCP Registry. The OpenAI plugin is in review. Other compatible clients can use https://mcp.patroltech.online/mcp with OAuth. A client installation does not mean its marketplace has approved a listing.
What is MCP?▼
Model Context Protocol is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to external apps. PatrolTech runs a remote MCP server, so any compatible client can use it with the same URL.
Is there a developer SDK or an agent skill?▼
Yes. The official TypeScript SDK is available on npm as @patroltech/sdk-api and at https://github.com/PatrolTech/sdk-api. The portable agent skill and client plugins are at https://github.com/PatrolTech/ai-integrations. Use MCP to operate your account from an assistant and the SDK to build your own integration. Both respect OAuth permissions.
