Test healthcare AI agents' medication claims against cited FDA label text. Deterministic rules, not a model, decide every verdict. Synthetic data only. Not for clinical use.

What can you do with Orinyx MCP?

  • Verify written orders — Ask your assistant to check medication orders exactly as written, split into dose, route, and frequency claims against FDA label text.
  • Verify structured claims — Submit structured medication claims for checking, with each result marked flagged, supported, or not verified.
  • Retrieve saved runs — Fetch a saved verification run by its run ID to review the per-claim results and citations.
  • Check accuracy and export — Get accuracy figures for saved runs and export verification results as CSV or PDF.
  • Read citations per claim — See the FDA label section or OTC monograph paragraph behind every flagged or supported row, with a link to the source.

Orinyx MCP · Free for developers · Limited testing release

Test your healthcare AI agent against cited FDA labels.

Deterministic: no LLM in the verdict.

Orinyx MCP is an MCP server for the agents people are shipping in healthcare. Hand it the medication orders or claims your agent produced and it checks each one against the FDA label text, cites the section, and says plainly when it could not check at all.

Free plan: 200 checks per calendar month (UTC). Synthetic test data only.

Not for clinical use. Orinyx checks medication claims against cited FDA label text for testing and evaluation only. Do not use its results to diagnose, treat, prescribe or make patient care decisions. Use synthetic test data only.

Get started

Four steps, in order.

  1. 1. Sign up free. The free plan includes 200 checks per calendar month (UTC). We'll email you a link to set your password. The link works once. Nothing after 10 minutes? Write to hello@orinyx.io.Sign up free
  2. 2. Quickstart. Connect Claude Code and run your first check, with the expected output to compare against. Quickstart
  3. 3. Known limits. Read these before you rely on a result. A missing flag is never evidence that an order is safe. Known limits
  4. 4. Source on GitHub. The MCP server is open source, Apache-2.0. The rules and reference data that decide each verdict run on the Orinyx service and are not in the repository. Listed in the official MCP Registry as io.github.lexthirteen-ai/orinyx-mcp. Latest release: v0.1.2. Source on GitHub

FLAGGED: the cited label says otherwise, at the severity shown.

SUPPORTED: consistent with the cited label text. Not a judgment that the order suits a patient.

NOT VERIFIED: Orinyx could not check it, which does not mean it is correct.

An order Orinyx cannot read as written comes back first, marked UNREADABLE, do not act on it.

Orinyx flags; the clinician decides.

Captured output from the Quickstart's planted example, trimmed. The error is planted so you can see a flag; it is not a dosing example. Your run id will differ.

Works where your agent lives

Tested with Claude Code. We'll add other MCP hosts here once they're tested.

Local

Runs on your machine over stdio, and your credential stays in your environment. Needs an API key issued by Orinyx: ask at hello@orinyx.io.

Hosted

A connector URL with sign-in, over Streamable HTTP. This is the self-serve path.

CI

A command-line tool with exit codes: 0 clean, 2 flagged, 3 not verified, 1 error, so a flagged claim fails the job. Needs an API key issued by Orinyx.

Setup

Connect in two minutes

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http orinyx https://orinyx-mcp.fly.dev/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code, choose orinyx, and sign in with your Orinyx email and password.

First prompt

Type start a test, or ask it to verify warfarin 5 mg by mouth daily.

Synthetic test data only. Never use real patient data.

What it does today

What a free account can run, and what it can't yet.

Verify

verify_order_text for orders exactly as written, Orinyx splits them into dose, route and frequency claims; verify_medications for structured claims; get_verification, get_accuracy and export_verification for saved runs, accuracy and CSV or PDF export.

Reference

Every flagged or supported row carries its citation: the FDA label section or OTC monograph paragraph, with a link to the source. A free account can't call the label and monograph lookup tools in this release.

Exams

Scored sittings on a fixed synthetic test set, for product accounts that Orinyx registers. Not self-serve in this release.

What Orinyx does not do

Read this before you wire it in.

  • Not for clinical use. Testing and evaluation only, with synthetic data. Results must not guide patient care.
  • No EHR connection. The MCP talks only to the Orinyx API. No FHIR, no Epic, no Cerner.
  • No real patient data. Synthetic test data only, everywhere. Claim text is stored in the audit record.
  • No clinical decisions. Supported means one claim agrees with the cited label text, not that the order suits a patient.
  • No silent pass. Abstain means unchecked, never safe.
  • No model in the verdict. No language model decides a verdict, a severity or a score.

Frequently asked questions.

Is the MCP free?

Yes, for developers. The free plan includes 200 checks per calendar month (UTC). The Orinyx API, for organizations, is not open yet. Join the API waitlist to hear when it opens.

Do I need patient data?

No. Synthetic data only. Never send real patient records, names, dates or record numbers.

Which clients work?

Claude Code, through the hosted connector with sign-in. That's the client we've tested. We'll add others here once they're tested.

Is it open now?

Yes. The Orinyx MCP opened on November 2, 2026, as a limited testing release. Sign up free, then read the known limits before you rely on a result. The Orinyx API is not open yet.

Start testing, free.
