Add modern TDA logic to the AI formulator you already use
Your AI formulator keeps everything it already knows. The NanoBase™ API plugs in alongside it as an upgrade and adds TDA logic (Tri-Domain Architecture logic), the modern step beyond 1940s HLB logic: nanocolloidal, liposomal and nanomicellar domains coexist in one lecithin-based chassis, held stable by an electrostatic wall, and every ingredient partitions into the domain built for it. Your formula is the delivery system.

A seat is for one end user you collect a fee from for NanoBase™ features. Your system enrolls each user into a seat through the API and unenrolls them when they leave, which frees the seat for the next user. Need more seats? Add them in the billing portal and they are available right away.
Need more runs this month? Run top-ups on any plan, one-time: 10 extra formula runs for $60, or 25 for $99.
How formula runs work
- Questions are free. Your AI can search ingredients, check preservation and learn from the agent primer and TDA logic pack as much as it likes. None of that uses a run.
- A run is used when your AI builds a formula. Its first formula check or label starts the run, and all formula work in the next 60 minutes (checks, fixes and labels, up to 300 requests) is included.
- Example: your AI drafts a serum, re-checks it eight times while applying fixes, then builds its INCI label, all within 40 minutes. That is 1 run.
- Runs reset on the 1st of each month (UTC). Unused runs, including top-up runs, do not carry over.
NanoBase™: the modern Architecture
NanoBase™ is the modern Architecture behind TDA logic: fully modular, handled as a raw material, and built to replace the emulsifier system that 1940s HLB science requires. Typical usage is 55% to 90% of the finished formula.
Fully modular
Classic, Luxe and Clinical slot into any brief: serums, creams and treatments on one system, each with its own published loading envelope.
Handled as a raw material
NanoBase™ ships ready-built from Pensive Beauty and goes into your formula like any other raw material, at 55% to 90% typical usage.
Replaces your 1940s HLB emulsifier system
No emulsifiers, co-emulsifiers or solubilizers to source, weigh or balance. The Architecture replaces them, and your AI stops calculating them.
Real nanoformulation, standard equipment
Every formula built on NanoBase™ is a nanoformulation (~185 nm design target; confirm by DLS on your finished formula). Your lab or contract manufacturer needs only standard cosmetic equipment: a scale, beakers, an overhead mixer and a pH meter. No specialized nano-processing equipment.
TDA logic vs 1940s HLB logic
For more than 75 years, formulation has run on one idea: balance an emulsifier blend to the oil phase and hope the actives survive the vehicle. TDA logic replaces the question. Instead of asking which emulsifier ratio holds two phases together, it asks which of three nano domains each ingredient belongs in, and whether the whole formula stays inside a measured envelope.
| 1940s HLB logic | TDA logic, the new standard | |
|---|---|---|
| The core question | Which emulsifier blend matches my oil phase’s required HLB? | Which domain does each ingredient belong in, and does the formula stay inside the envelope? |
| The carrier | One macro-emulsion; one carrier per active class | One Architecture, three coexisting nano domains |
| Stability | Surfactant balance at a macro interface | An electrostatic (DLVO) wall holding three populations apart |
| Scale | Micron-scale droplets | ~185 nm design target, verified by DLS |
| Actives | Dissolved, dispersed or solubilized, often fighting the vehicle | Partitioned by polarity into the domain engineered for them |
| Emulsifiers and solubilizers | Required, calculated and blended | None added; the Architecture carries that budget |
| Making it | Heat, high shear and phase work at every manufacturer | Cold, gentle downstream addition; no nano equipment on your line |
| The formula’s role | A vehicle that carries actives | Your formula is the delivery system |
| Your AI | Required-HLB math and trial and error | Domain routing rules, a live loading envelope and per-active delivery data |
Why formulators are upgrading
Your formula is the delivery system
The vehicle stops being a passive carrier. Each active is partitioned into a domain engineered for its polarity, so the formula itself drives deposition.
Three domains, one chassis
Lipophilic actives in the nanocolloidal domain, amphiphilic and lipidated actives in the liposomal bilayer, hydrophilic actives in the nanomicellar domain. No compromises between active classes.
Zero emulsifier math
No 1940s HLB calculations, no emulsifier blends, no solubilizers. The Architecture already carries that budget.
Stable by design
An electrostatic wall keeps the three populations apart. Your AI reasons in charge, ionic strength and domain capacity, not surfactant ratios.
Nanoscale, measured
A ~185 nm design target with a genuine tri-domain signature (PDI around 0.28), characterized by DLS.
Built cold
Brands add their actives at room temperature with gentle mixing. No heat, no high shear and no nano equipment on the line.
Delivery your AI can quote
Published third-party studies report up to ~700% delivery uplift for actives delivered at the nanoscale versus conventional vehicles built on 1940s HLB science (~300% typical). Your AI gets the figure and its source for each active.*
An upgrade, not a replacement
Connect over MCP or REST. Your AI keeps everything it knows; the agent primer and the TDA logic pack add TDA logic the moment it connects.
*Figures describe the active at the nanoscale in published third-party studies. They are not claims for NanoBase™ or for any finished formula; confirm performance with your own testing.
What the API does
Loader envelope check
Send a finished formula and get a verdict against the NanoBase™ loading envelope: oil, peptide, electrolyte and cationic budgets, pH window and remedies.
Live ingredient search
Match INCI names against the NanoBase™ ingredient library, with live access only. Nothing is downloadable.
INCI Label Builder
Build the finished ingredient list, highest to lowest, with NanoBase™ broken into its INCI components in the right order.
Preservation guidance
Check regulatory preservative caps and whether your additions call for a top-up, with trade-name blends broken into INCI parts.
It teaches your AI as it works
Every connection starts with the agent primer and the TDA logic pack, which add TDA logic to everything your model already knows: what NanoBase™ is, how ingredients route into the three domains, which 1940s HLB habits do not apply on the Architecture, how to break trade names into INCI blends, how to stay inside the envelope and how to talk with your users about delivery performance. The machine-readable spec lets any agent framework call the tools directly.

Built to protect what makes NanoBase™ work
The API shares the loading envelope, never the Architecture’s composition, processing or equipment. Requests that seek protected information are refused, logged and can suspend the key, and every connected AI must carry the guardrail set out in the API Terms. Outputs are design guidance: every formula should be reviewed by a qualified chemist or formulator and validated at bench and pilot scale before commercial production.
