Documentation
Ask Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor "where should I move?" and get an answer built on real numbers. The MyNomadWorld MCP server runs the same ranking as our what country should I move to quiz, across 197 countries, from inside your AI assistant. It is free and needs no account.
Server URL: https://mynomadworld.com/api/mcp
What the MCP server can do
- Recommend countries: tell it where you are from, your monthly income and what matters to you (tax, cost of living, safety, climate, the sea, being near family, language, healthcare). It ranks the countries that fit you best, with the reasons and the catches. You can also ask only for countries with a digital nomad visa, a minimum internet speed, or a time zone close to your team.
- Country profile: the income tax you would pay at your income, special regimes for newcomers, cost of living, climate month by month, safety, internet, languages, time zone and digital nomad visa for one country.
- Compare two countries: side by side, with your match score for each.
- Digital nomad visas: the countries with a remote work visa, the monthly income they ask for and how long they last.
How to add it to Claude
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Name it MyNomadWorld, paste the server URL and save. Then try: "With MyNomadWorld, where should I live as a remote worker from Canada earning 5,000 euros a month who wants warm weather?"
In Claude Code, run:
claude mcp add --transport http mynomadworld https://mynomadworld.com/api/mcp
How to add it to ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, go to Settings, then Apps and Connectors, open Advanced settings and turn on developer mode. Create a new connector, paste the server URL and choose no authentication. Developer mode is available on paid plans.
How to add it to Cursor or VS Code
In Cursor, add this to your mcp.json file:
{"mcpServers": {"mynomadworld": {"url": "https://mynomadworld.com/api/mcp"}}}
In VS Code, add this to.vscode/mcp.json:
{"servers": {"mynomadworld": {"type": "http", "url": "https://mynomadworld.com/api/mcp"}}}
Your data
The server does not ask for your name, email or any account. It does not keep what you type. To stop abuse it counts requests with a one-way code that cannot be turned back into your IP address, and deletes it after two days.
Where the numbers come from
Income tax scales compiled by MyNomadWorld and being checked against PwC Worldwide Tax Summaries and national tax authorities. Cost of living from World Bank price levels. Homicide rates from UNODC through the World Bank. Climate from Open-Meteo ERA5, as the 2019 to 2023 average in the city named. Internet speeds are approximate national medians from public speed test rankings. Digital nomad visa rules from each country's official pages. Tax figures are estimates for one person on employment income, not tax advice.
