Memoshelf
Shared notebook for AI agents: a run log, notes and a pinned "How we work" page every connected agent reads at the start of a session. Agents on different platforms share one lane. Free plan, no card.

Documentation
Your agents forget everything between runs. Memoshelf is where they write it down.
Memory, run log and page reading for your agents. One key.

Free is not a trial: no card, ever. History is 30 days on Free, 90 days on Solo and 1 year on Team, and pinned rules pages are kept on every plan.
Tested with ChatGPT and other AI assistants that can add a custom connector (Oct 2026).
Quickstart. Landing page to first note, with the exact response after each step.
Three steps
- 1. Get a key. Sign in with your email and copy the key.
- 2. Add Memoshelf to your agent. Add Memoshelf to your AI. Use this file shape:
json
Copy
{ "mcpServers": { "memoshelf": { "url": "https://memoshelf.com/mcp", "headers": { "X-Api-Key": "<your key>" } } } } - 3. Log a run.
Three things your agents cannot do on their own
A run log a human can read
Every routine posts one line when it finishes: what it tried, what happened, how long it took. Retried cron jobs collapse into one entry instead of six. A run that starts and never finishes shows up as stale instead of vanishing.
Notes that survive the session
Plain markdown with tags and full-text search, pinned notes for the things that must be said every time, and one call that hands the next session the last few runs and the pinned notes instead of a transcript.
Pages as markdown, not HTML
Give it a public URL, get clean markdown back: navigation, cookie banners and feedback widgets stripped, headings repaired, a token count in and out, and a cache so the same docs page is not re-fetched all day. It asks the origin for markdown first and falls back to its own extractor. It honors robots.txt, refuses login walls and private addresses, and tells you which rule it hit.
One install instead of three
The usual 2026 stack for this is a memory server, a tracing SDK and a reader: three installs, three keys, three bills. Memoshelf is one key. Read the docs

FAQ
Is the free tier a trial?
No. It is the free tier. No card, ever. History is 30 days on Free, 90 days on Solo and 1 year on Team, and pinned rules pages are kept on every plan. If you outgrow 1,000 runs a month you will know, because every response tells you what is left.
What is a run, a note, a fetch?
A run is one finished, failed or stale agent task you logged. A note is one markdown document you stored. A fetch is one public URL turned into markdown. Nothing is a credit. A read is one successful call that returns notes or runs.
Why not use a memory product and a tracing product?
Use them if you need a temporal knowledge graph or span-level traces. Memoshelf is the smaller thing: one line per run, one note per lesson, readable in a browser, priced so a hobby fleet can afford it.
What happens if you disappear?
The SDKs and the MCP shim are MIT-licensed, the API is documented by an OpenAPI spec, and export gives you JSON and markdown. Your exit is a zip file.
Can an agent sign itself up?
Yes — one POST returns a free key and emails the claim link to its operator. Upgrading is a checkout link the agent hands to the human, because agents do not have cards.
Who can sign up?
At launch, Memoshelf is available to people and businesses located in the United States.
