Documentation

However you want to hear about it.

Uptimely delivers alerts, incident updates, and status changes through the channels your team already uses. Workspace channels (Slack, Discord) broadcast to the whole project; personal channels (email, SMS, voice call, push) are configured and verified per user.

Slack

Connect a Slack workspace to receive Uptimely notifications directly in a channel. Uptimely posts monitor status changes, incident and alert events, and on-call notifications as rich Slack messages, and honors per-project notification rules so you control which event types reach Slack. Incident action buttons let responders acknowledge and resolve from within Slack.

Discord

Connect Discord via an incoming webhook to send Uptimely notifications to a channel. Uptimely delivers status changes and incident/alert updates as Discord messages with rich embeds, and supports per-event delivery preferences so you can tune which events post to Discord.

Email

Uptimely sends transactional and notification email through UseSend. Email is used for account and verification mail, incident and alert notifications, on-call alerts, and status-page subscriber updates. Messages are sent from Uptimely's verified sending domain so they authenticate correctly (SPF/DKIM).

SMS

Uptimely sends SMS alerts through Twilio. SMS is a personal notification method used for time-sensitive alerts and on-call escalation, so responders are reached on their phones even when they're away from a screen. Sends are logged for delivery visibility.

Voice call

Uptimely places automated voice-call alerts through Twilio for high-urgency notifications and on-call escalation. Calls speak the alert aloud and can gather keypad input, so a responder can be phoned and prompted to acknowledge during an escalation.

Web push (browser)

Uptimely supports native browser push via the Web Push (VAPID) standard. After a user grants notification permission, Uptimely can push alerts to their browser without email or SMS, using the browser's own push subscription.

Mobile push

For mobile devices, Uptimely delivers push notifications through Notifly (a self-hosted Novu), which routes to FCM on Android and APNs on iOS. Device delivery is handled entirely by Notifly, so Uptimely reaches mobile apps without shipping platform push SDKs itself.

OpenTelemetry (OTLP) ingestion

Beyond alerting, Uptimely ingests OpenTelemetry logs, traces, and metrics via OTLP endpoints and stores them in ClickHouse, so you can send telemetry from your services into the same product that watches their uptime.

Prometheus metrics endpoint

Uptimely exposes a Prometheus-compatible /metrics endpoint carrying monitor status and response-time data, so you can scrape Uptimely's own signals into an existing Prometheus or Grafana setup.
