fnlowl

Manage website widgets, leads, email sequences and analytics from an AI assistant. Remote OAuth server; writes are drafts and publishing needs a person's approval.

The FnlOwl MCP server lets an AI assistant work with your account: read widgets, leads and analytics, draft and edit widgets, campaigns and sequences, and answer questions about how your funnel is doing.

https://api.fnlowl.com/v1/mcp

It is a remote server over Streamable HTTP. Clients sign in with OAuth, so there is no key to copy and nothing to install.

What you can do

  • Widgets: list, read, create (always a draft), edit, and request publishing.
  • Leads and analytics: read leads, totals, per-widget results and A/B experiment results.
  • Follow-up: draft campaigns and sequences, pause a sequence, and activate one after you confirm.
  • Delivery health: check sending status, recent deliveries, integrations and AI generation.
  • Account context: read and update your brand and the AI context.
  • Plan: see your limits and how much of each you have used.

See Tools for the full list.

Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Enter the URL above and click Add.
  3. Sign in to FnlOwl, choose the website the connector may use, and approve.
  4. Test it: ask “Which FnlOwl websites do I have?”

Claude Code

claude mcp add fnlowl https://api.fnlowl.com/v1/mcp --scope user --transport http

Run /mcp inside Claude Code and follow the prompt to sign in.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Apps and add FnlOwl as a custom app, using the URL above.
  2. Sign in and approve.
  3. Set the app permission to Allow read-only tools, or write tools stay hidden.
  4. Test it: ask “Which FnlOwl websites do I have?”

If the tool list looks out of date, refresh the tools in the app’s settings.

Codex

codex mcp add fnlowl --url https://api.fnlowl.com/v1/mcp

Follow the prompt to sign in.

VS Code and other clients

Add the URL as a remote Streamable HTTP server. In VS Code, put this in .vscode/mcp.json:

{
  "servers": {
    "fnlowl": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://api.fnlowl.com/v1/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your client must support OAuth for remote servers. If it does not, use an API key instead: create one under Settings → API and send it as Authorization: Bearer fnlk_....

Choosing a website

A connector can be limited to one website when you approve it. With an API key, call the list-websites tool, pick one, and send its id in the x-fnlowl-project header on later requests. Without it, tools read across your whole account.

Revoking access

Open Settings → API → Connected apps and remove the connector. Revoke a key from the same screen. Access ends right away.

Troubleshooting

The client says it could not reach the server. Check the URL ends in /v1/mcp and that your network allows HTTPS to api.fnlowl.com.

Write tools are missing. The connection only has read access. Reconnect and approve the write scope, and in ChatGPT allow write tools in the app permission.

Publishing does nothing. That is expected. Publishing creates a request that you approve on the Widgets screen. See What agents can never do on their own.
