FAQ

Do I still have to disclose the edit?

Yes. The duty falls on the licensee publishing the listing, not on the software. What we do is generate the correct disclosure for each surface you publish to, and hand you the unaltered original that several rulebooks require alongside it. We generate it; you publish it.

Is day-to-dusk even allowed?

No MLS rulebook we have verified names day-to-dusk explicitly, so we classify it as ambiguous and disclose by default. Bay East’s public FAQ does list “sky replacement” as a digitally altered image, and day-to-dusk is commonly implemented as a sky replacement plus synthetic window glow, which changes the depicted time of day — so the lighting-adjustment exemption is not safely available. Outside the US, NSW Fair Trading guidance says agents must not change a property’s appearance by digitally adding or removing features; only lighting adjustments that compensate for poor lighting “may be acceptable”.

What happens to the original photo?

It comes back with every edit, unaltered, tagged as a camera capture, and never used for training. For US listings it can be published at a permanent public URL, because California §10140.8 requires the original stay viewable. For EU and UK listings retention is bound to the listing lifecycle instead, and the public page carries a takedown route.

How is the edit disclosed?

We include disclosure wording, an edit record and the original photo. Paid downloads preserve the provider file without adding a Duskly pixel watermark. Existing provider credentials are preserved but unverified, and Duskly does not currently sign C2PA manifests. You still need to follow the disclosure rules where you publish.

Will you charge me again without asking?

No. No auto-renewal without explicit consent, a renewal email before every charge, and cancellation in one click. The most common complaint in this category is a surprise annual bill, and we would rather not earn that review.

Can you do multiple angles of the same room?

Not consistently, and nobody else can either — the published benchmarks top out around 20% flawless, because models rearrange furniture to face the camera even when handed correct geometry. Each photo is edited independently. Pick your hero shot.
