Use the live tool list and respect company membership. Ask the person to approve the exact invoice or tax return version in the signed-in app. Melso's professionals prepare and file included returns after approval; an AI assistant does not file. A prepared file or an approval is not evidence of filing: only the AEAT's reference and receipt are. Keep credentials out of chat and logs.

Connect a compatible assistant to Melso to read your records, register expenses, draft and, where the prerequisites allow, issue invoices, and check the fiscal calendar. Access follows the company and permissions you approve on the OAuth consent screen.

Who it is for

The server works for both kinds of Melso company: an autónomo (freelancer) and an empresa (company). Both get the same tools, except accounting, which reads an empresa's books. What a connection actually lists depends on the company's plan, your role and, for an autónomo, whether setup is finished. See Permissions and approvals.

Three rules follow from the table:

1. Preparation is not issuance. invoices prepare saves an unnumbered draft. issue submits the exact saved version only when the owner asks, through the owner's own connection, with a plan that includes the tools and a verified issuer authorization: see Issuing an invoice. Otherwise invoices request_approval returns the page where the owner issues it. taxes request_approval returns the page where the owner approves the exact version of a return.
2. Approval is not filing. Melso's professionals review and file an authorized return with the required authority. Only the actual external reference and receipt establish filing. An import file or a chat message is not a filing receipt.
3. The list is the limit. Without a plan that includes the tools, only read actions are listed. While an autónomo's setup is pending, only company, fiscal_profile and support_tickets_create are listed.

MCP supports the documented operations for eligible accounts. It does not perform every government procedure, and support for a client does not imply a partnership with its maker.
