IPOGrid IPO Calendar & Filing Research

IPOGrid IPO Calendar & Filing Research is an MCP research skill for filing-driven IPO research, market snapshots, chart-backed briefs, company analysis, comparable IPO deals, and post-listing outcome reviews.

The skill was written for Claude and other MCP-capable assistants first. Codex plugin metadata is included as an additional packaging layer so the same workflow can also be tested in Codex plugin marketplaces.

What It Includes

Keep the root SKILL.md as the source of truth. If the workflow changes, update the Codex copy under skills/ipo-research/SKILL.md at the same time.

Use With Claude

Use the root SKILL.md as the skill file. Configure Claude's MCP client with the IPOGrid endpoint:

No authentication is required by default. If a task needs auth-only tools, use IPOGrid's OAuth 2.0 flow.

In Claude, type /mcp, select IPOGrid, and click Authenticate when you need signed-in access.

Use With Codex

Clone this repository, then open Codex from the repository root:

In the Codex TUI, open /plugins, choose the IPOGrid IPO Calendar & Filing Research marketplace, and install the IPOGrid IPO Calendar & Filing Research plugin.

Authentication

The IPOGrid MCP server supports lightweight anonymous research for public market snapshots, company lookups, basic watchlists, recent news metadata, and chart embeds.

No auth is the default path. OAuth 2.0 is the backup path for clients and tasks that need signed-in access to richer filing, outcome, news, financial snapshot, and comparable-deal tools.

As an optional advanced flow, IPOGrid can also be configured with a bearer-token environment variable such as IPOGRID_API_KEY.

1. An embedded chart of IPO gross proceeds by sector over the last 26 weeks.
2. A short interpretation of sector leadership and IPO risk appetite.
