GrooveSheet runs a remote Model Context Protocol server. Add it to an AI app and the app can find sheet music, MIDI and stems in the GrooveSheet library, and transcribe your own songs.

Quickstart

claude mcp add --transport http groovesheet https://api.groovesheet.net/mcp/public

No sign-in needed. Use /mcp instead to also transcribe your own songs.

  • No tool spends minutes or buys anything. Uploads and purchases happen on groovesheet.net, by the user.
  • Which parts of a song are scored varies by song. Always go by get_song.
