SourcePRD

Your product,as it is in the code,inside Claude and ChatGPT.

SourcePRD exposes a Model Context Protocol server. Ask your assistant what the product does and it answers from the story — generated from your code — instead of guessing from stale docs or the plan.

Seven read-only tools

The story first — doors, areas, capabilities, what changed — and the older PRD as a fallback for projects that have no story yet.

get_project

What this product is now: a short summary and the doors an owner would recognize. Call this first.

list_features

The hierarchy as it is now — doors, areas, capability names. Pass a name to get_feature.

get_feature

One capability: what it is, how people use it, what to watch, and the implementing files.

search_prd

Find a capability by meaning — “how do refunds work?” — across names, headlines, and what it does.

get_prd

The full product story. Large; prefer list_features + get_feature when you only need one part.

what_changed

What moved recently, from the daily code check: which capabilities changed, appeared or went away, one line each on what it means for people — since day, week, month, or a date.

list_projects

The projects you can read (sign-in connection). Pass a name or id as project to the other tools; with one project nothing to pass.

Read-only by design

Every tool is annotated read-only and non-destructive. Signing in grants reading the story — nothing else, ever.

Claude (claude.ai & Desktop)

Settings → Connectors → Browse connectors and search for SourcePRD. Add it, sign in when Claude asks, click Allow. Works in chat and projects.

Nothing to paste — SourcePRD is listed in Claude's connectors directory. You can still add the URL above as a custom connector if you prefer.

ChatGPT

Open the menu drawer, choose Plugins, and search for SourcePRD. Sign in when SourcePRD opens and click Allow.

Prefer to add it by hand? Settings → Apps → Advanced → turn on Developer mode and add the URL above as a custom connector. Developer mode is web only — not the iOS or Android app — on Plus, Pro, Team, Enterprise and Edu.

Gemini CLI

Gemini discovers the sign-in endpoints from the server itself and opens consent in your browser — nothing to configure. On Antigravity CLI, which replaced Gemini CLI for consumer Google accounts, add the same URL as serverUrl in mcp_config.json.

Gemini Enterprise

business.gemini.google → Settings & help → your team → Manage team → Connected apps → Add MCP Server, with the URL above.

Streamable HTTP, which is what we serve. The consumer Gemini app at gemini.google.com does not take custom MCP servers yet — use the CLI there.

Claude Code

The first use opens sign-in and consent in your browser. Your coding agent then reads the product as it is in the code while it writes.

SourcePRD is listed in both Claude's and ChatGPT's connector directories — nothing to paste in either. Gemini connects with the same URL.

Streamable HTTP (JSON-RPC, MCP 2025-06-18) · OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, dynamic client registration and client-ID metadata documents · revoke any time by disconnecting the connector or signing out.

One project only, or a client that cannot sign in? Each project's Settings → Connect Claude also offers a per-project link that carries a token.
