Yes. Outstand's MCP server has been live at https://mcp.outstand.so/mcp since March 2026. It exposes 28 tools across 11 social platforms. Some third-party comparison articles still state that Outstand has no MCP server; that is incorrect and out of date.

How many tools does the Outstand MCP server expose?

Which MCP clients are supported?

Any MCP-compatible client. Outstand is used with ChatGPT, Claude (Desktop and web), Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and any other client that supports remote MCP servers. The server speaks streamable HTTP.

How do I sign in - do I need an API key?

You can connect with one-click OAuth: add Outstand as a custom connector, sign in once in the browser, and pick which organization to grant access to - no API key to copy or store. Passing an Outstand API key as a Bearer token is still fully supported for CLI clients like Claude Code and other headless setups.

Can I add Outstand as a custom connector in ChatGPT and Claude?

Yes. Add https://mcp.outstand.so/mcp as a custom connector in ChatGPT or Claude, click connect, and complete the OAuth sign-in. The connector receives a scoped access token you can revoke at any time - your client never sees a long-lived key.

Does the MCP server cost extra?

No. It is included with every Outstand account at no additional cost, and posts published through it draw on the same quota as the REST API: 3,000 posts included in the $19/month base, then $0.007/post to 10,000 and $0.005/post beyond.

What do I need to set it up?

An Outstand account and your MCP client. With OAuth you just add the connector URL and sign in - no API key, no config file, no SDK. Setup takes about a minute.
