Let your coding agent build the form backend

What the agent does

1. ensure_project Finds or creates the project for your site.
2. ensure_form Creates the form and returns its endpoint.
3. Edits your code Points the form or fetch call at the endpoint.
4. send_test_submission Proves it works end to end.
5. list_submissions Confirms the test arrived.

It uses FormsMCP for contact, lead, waitlist, feedback and similar forms. It is told not to use it for sign-up, checkout or data that belongs in your own database.

Connect in a minute

One command for every agent. The formsmcp CLI finds Claude Code, Codex and Cursor on your machine, adds the server to each one you confirm, writes the agent instructions, and prints the sign-in step. Or set up one agent by hand below.

npx formsmcp init

Add FormsMCP as a remote HTTP server, then sign in once. Claude Code stores the tokens and refreshes them.

1. Run this in your project. The server is saved for you in this project only (the default "local" scope); add --scope user to use it everywhere.

2. Sign in. Either type /mcp inside Claude Code and pick FormsMCP, or run this; your browser opens the FormsMCP consent page.

3. Check the connection. Inside Claude Code, /mcp shows the server and its tools. To disconnect later, choose "Clear authentication" there or run claude mcp logout formsmcp.

Prefer an API key? (no browser needed)

1. Without a browser (CI, a remote box): pass an API key as a header instead of signing in.

2. When sharing the server through.mcp.json (--scope project), keep the key out of the file with environment variable expansion:
