The House That Listens

Villa Liminal is introduced as a social space with recording systems, watchers, controlled entrances and unequal access. Cassie arrives after her invitation has been withdrawn and begins learning the house's doors, mirrors and sound routes.

Reading: The villa behaves like a room and an instrument at once; spatial knowledge gives Cassie options, but it does not erase the cost of acting inside someone else's design.
