Domain Rank (DR) is a 0–100 score measuring a website's backlink authority. It blends two signals: 50% from the logarithmic count of referring domains (dofollow at full weight, nofollow at 30%) and 50% from a weighted PageRank algorithm that considers link position, anchor text quality, and TLD trust zones. Yes, SeoMCP offers a free tier. Sign up for an account to get your API key. The free tier includes access to domain overview, backlinks, referring domains, rankings, contacts, and page SEO data. The same API key works for both the REST API and the MCP server.

What data sources does SeoMCP use?

SeoMCP processes our proprietary web crawl that processes billions of pages monthly. We extract backlinks, page metadata, technologies, contact information, and social profiles from each page, then compute domain authority scores using a PageRank-based algorithm over the full link graph.
