FlareMail

A polished web inbox for Cloudflare Email Routing and Workers. Read, compose, search, and manage edge-powered mail without standing up IMAP, wrestling SMTP, or living in forwarding hacks.

Who it is for

Founders, operators, and developers who already trust Cloudflare for DNS or Workers and want custom-domain email that feels like a normal inbox — not another forward-to-Gmail workaround.

Why FlareMail

  • A real inbox per domain. Send, receive, search, and reply without forwarding everything into someone else's mailbox.
  • One place for the collection. Domains, addresses, verification, and receiving live in Sending domains. Three domains are free. Agency is unlimited.
  • A goal on the thread. Reply with AI drafts the next message toward an outcome you name. Follow up can check back at day 4 and day 8. You still send.
  • Privacy on open. Remote images stay blocked, suspected tracking pixels are stripped, and you choose when images load.

Email for AI agents

FlareMail gives AI agents access to the same inbox through hosted MCP and the REST API. Connect Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or your own client with OAuth 2.1 PKCE (scope email) or a named fm_live_ key. The MCP server exposes 21 tools, including list, search, draft, reply, and send. Search accepts operators such as mailbox:, from:, and is:unread. Sandbox fm_test_ keys log sends and do not deliver. Transactional sends on POST /api/v1/emails can be limited to specific From-domains. Webhooks are signed with HMAC-SHA256. A live key acts as the account: there is no separate per-tool permission policy, no human approve-and-send queue, no quarantine that hides mail from MCP, and no platform address at @agents.sendwithflare.com.

How it is built

Browser client → JWT session → Cloudflare Worker API. D1 stores mail metadata; R2 stores message bodies and attachments. Inbound mail arrives through Email Routing to the Worker. Outbound mail uses Cloudflare Email Sending for provisioned domains, with Resend as the path to arbitrary recipients.

Not the right fit

FlareMail is not a generic hosted mailbox for people who do not want to use Cloudflare, and not an enterprise shared-inbox platform.
