Use SendShort in Claude, ChatGPT and Grok

Connect SendShort to your AI assistant. Paste a YouTube link in the chat, and the assistant makes shorts with captions and can schedule them to TikTok and YouTube. You need a Professional or Business plan.

Connect your assistant

The first time it connects, a SendShort page opens. Sign in, check the app name, and click Allow.

Steps

Claude (web, Desktop, mobile)

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the URL, click Connect, then click Allow on the SendShort page.

Claude Code

Run claude mcp add --transport http --scope user sendshort https://app.sendshort.ai/api/mcp. Then type /mcp, select sendshort and choose Authenticate.

ChatGPT

Settings → Apps & Connectors. Create a connector with the URL and OAuth. Click Allow on the SendShort page. Custom connectors can need developer mode (Advanced settings).

Grok

grok.com → Connectors → New Connector → Custom. Paste the URL, then click Allow on the SendShort page.

Cursor, VS Code, Codex and others

Use the one-click install in SendShort: Settings → Connect your AI agent.

What you can ask for

"Turn https://youtu.be/... into 5 shorts with captions."

"Make a music video from this song link with gameplay in the background."

"Schedule my latest short to TikTok and YouTube tomorrow at 6 pm."

What the assistant can do

• Check your plan and how many credits you have left.
• Import a YouTube video that you own or have the rights to use.
• Find the best moments and cut them into shorts, with captions, templates and 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9 formats.
• Make 9:16 music videos of up to 60 seconds.
• List your shorts and slideshows.
• Schedule, list and cancel posts to your connected TikTok and YouTube accounts.

Limits: 120 requests per minute for each connected app. 5 clip jobs and 3 YouTube imports per minute. Your plan's credits and video slots apply, the same as in the app.

Privacy and access: The assistant can only do what you ask, with the access you approved. To stop it, go to Settings → API keys → Connected apps in SendShort and click Disconnect. Read the privacy policy.
